We’ve played a very tough schedule. People in the Basketball Forum are acting like we won’t make the tournament. We have some ignorant people who follow basketball.

Oh we absolutely do have dumb fans. We’ll 100% make the tournament unless we absolutely collapse. Our losses are to good teams but we are still very inconsistent

The fouls on ON at half where he was jumped into by the shooter and the last foul on JJJ where he didn’t even touch the guy…also they let a lot of fouls go when we got into the paint

This guys been at GT for a couple years. You might be thinking of the 4 star linebacker they flipped on ESD that was committed to GT

No, I didn't mean he transferred in last week, rather, he just started school in the new semester at GT. And now he's in the portal. Why not before or after the semester? And how can a school be allowed to recruit a kid while enrolled at another school and not in the portal? And that's exactly what OM did per the rumors. I'm sure they aren't the only ones.

This crap is ruining cfb. It gets worse by the day. Not just allowing kids to transfer. Not just allowing them to EARN money via NIL. But now allowing them to seek payment from the highest bidder and allowing schools, oh i mean business reps (wink, wink), to recruit them while enrolled at other schools and not in the portal.

Saw a replay of the JJJ foul at the end and it def looked like the right call imo

Our offense just struggled…but we’ve played many top defensive teams. We are actually consistent…11-0 at home? Struggle on the road.

Since he almost never makes a damn jumper thats why I reacted that way

Something interesting to watch here. ORN at the top there it looks like he was trying to call a TO. That tells me either Barnes told them to pass halfcourt and all a TO, or the original play got blown up and he was trying to call one to set something else up. It makes me feel even better about that final play.

Well make the tournament but won't make a run. If they haven't gotten things figured out on O by now, its gonna be tough. I see an early round exit, this team is very similar to last years team. Some flashes but inconsistencies on offense (Barnes signature) they'll end up with an early exit. Hope I'm wrong but the SEC alone is strong and we look upper middle of the pack.

The last of that game showed exactly how this team should be playing and pressing the issue. They are thinking too much and not creating on O like they should. The energy and abandon they played with in that last 5 minutes or so should be what they try to do throughout each game.

Not playing that way is causing the horrible first halves and slumps with no points.

I thought the same thing throughout that stretch!! I was like “why don’t we play with this same sense of urgency the entire 40 minutes?”. I mean it’s not because we are thin on the bench. We are very deep to sub and keep guys fresh, so why not?? Makes 0 sense.

No way Santi was getting open and Ziegler taking it to basket had a good chance to get blocked with his size

For sure, but we should have had JJJ in the corner where Santi was, Santi where JJJ was, and let JJJ cut to the basket when ZZ drove into the lane. All the defenders under the basket pulled out to guard ZZ. He could have hit JJJ on the cut to the basket and got an easy 2 or at the least a foul with 2 FTs to either tie or win it.

Idk maybe you should tell the players that? apparently these players who have been playing their entire lives need to be told to play for 40 full minutes as if they don’t know that already
