Daboll seems like a good hire for Giants. Dolphins and Texans meanwhile appear headed for downgrading from the coaches they fired…..surely Texans are not serious about Josh McCown as HC

I'll never get that move. It was such a short-term mentality.

Though we landed on our feet way better than I expected back then too.
This is also Kiffin's fault. He brought extra NCAA scrutiny to our football program and our AD panicked. Basically, he sacrificed Pearl to keep the NCAA from poking around.

If you are over 50, like me, the early Majors years sucked. I still have nightmares about that Army blocked punt that led to a lost and my uncle still remembers me, at 8/9 years old, saying we should take a safety. I was a football genius, then and I still am.
I was in ROTC at that time. I vaguely remember that Randy Sanders missed a wide open Terrence Cleveland for what would have been the game winning score. I believe it was 1986

Invol I wanted to come because

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Matthew 25:45 KJV

I know you are hurting and I know for a fact alot of hearts here are mourning with you

I just wanted to look you in the eye so you would KNOW
You are a good man.

Extremely dumb take. One decides on an individual basis. Sounds like a FF in-house troll all dressed up as "hotness." We are not recruiting a statistical average.

Glad you weren't in a position to refuse Jauan Jennings, Trey Smith, Derek Barnett, Reggie Cobb, or Reggie White.

We do have better individual options in this specific case.

You may think you are agreeing with people who rightly say we should have no positive in-state bias (and get emotional about it), but you are not. You are arguing against reason for a negative in-state bias, which is dumb.
You were able to name what 10-15 out of hundreds over how many years. Go watch high school football in Ga and come back to Tenn and you will see the difference. Maryville would be middle of the pack team in Ga. Sorry you cant handle the truth.

They are both responsible, my fellow Falcon. Bruce did not help himself, for sure, but they left him twisting.
Agee, although UT didn't really know you could say eff you, NCAA, do something. Now, it seems common. Still, every coach that has gotten a show cause has been fired and sadly, that includes Bruce

As a Dolphins fan, I was:

1a) Brian Daboll
1b) Mike McDaniel

So now I’m hoping for McDaniel. Both would be considered a downgrade to start, but both have just as much potential. It’s been said by Dolphins reporters that the defensive staff is open to staying for a new HC if the new HC wanted them. That defensive consistency would be huge as he is an offensive minded coach. Mike McDaniel was always a guy that intrigued me though. Looks like a normal hipster dude you’d find at a brewery yet is Kyle Shanahans right hand man and players can’t quit talking about how creative and smart he is. Can he command an organization and be a good HC? Who knows. All first time HC have that question mark.

Also, I’m curious if Flores even gets scooped up this off-season. If so, some of those rumors of his downfalls may be true and teams are staying away this go around.

I had to ski it!
Volunteer ski run in Breckenridge today.
Groomed black run.
I skied it 5 times today. It’s awesome. My new favorite ski run.
(Wouldn’t have considered it if it wasn’t groomed)

I take it as an omen. 15-0 🤠

And yes my belly done lapped over my belt.

Several decades ago, I spent two winters in a row in Breckenridge, two months per year. I came as a relative novice, and left as a scarred veteran novice. My friends and I skied every run, backwoods trail and passable cliff on the mountain. Came close to death several times. It was about as much fun as I've ever had, and pretty much satisfied my lifetime desire to ski.
