Recruiting rich get richer. Bobo to UGA. Not sure role. Wouldn’t suprise me if Monken jump to NFL and Bobo slid in as OC. Bobo is an elite QB recruiter. I don’t get why harsin parted ways with him.
This is his 3rd stop at Georgia. Maybe he didn't have any other job offers after leaving Auburn. He's gonna be an offensive analyst there.

Yeah, we had 7 in last year's class and Powell as a transfer, so that group could all be 3 or 4 year guys (hopefully).
I hope a couple of them take a red shirt because it's not good to have a senior class with 8 guys leaving at the same time. I'm sure some of them will visit the portal before their senior year. Signing 4 a year would probably be our coach's preference.

They could sprinkle in the rare midfield throws, the but the rest is mostly schematic. From what I've read the point, much like extending WRs to the extreme hashes, is to polarize our ranges. Either we go short/horizontal or very deep, which really stresses the defense to the extreme. As long as we keep putting up near 40 a game, I really don't care. They have something that works. If they can throw more in and it's even better, great. Just don't want it to mess with a very good thing.

#1 thing our offense has to fix next year is sacks. It wasn't just pressures allowed either. HH had the 2nd nationally worse P2S% (sacks per pressures). He was double that of the elite guys. He was sacked on a whopping 36% of pressures. Gotta improve there.

Yep, I am also hopeful someone in that TE group truly emerges.

Brock Bowers lead Georgia in receptions, yards & receiving TDs at TE
Cameron Latu was 5th in receptions, 3rd in yards & receiving TDs at TE for Bama
Erick All was 2nd in receptions, yards, & receiving TDs at TE for Michigan
Leonard Taylor was 5th in receptions, 6th in yards & 4th in TDs at TE for Cincinnati

Fant & Warren combined for us were really good, but those top 4 teams were getting that level of production from 1 guy. Ideally I think our offense (especially that middle of the field area) would improve drastically if we had a more consistent threat from TE.

Aidoo, Quentin, & Tamba should all be able to RS this year.

I agree and see what you are saying--- another thing that will improve things all around is having some RB's/run game take more control... Evans could barely play a full game without getting hurt and small we now cannot carry all the load... I am still on the fence with Wright, still too much dancing, but I am hoping with some more weight training and practice, he we learn and be more confident to plant his foot and go north...

YES! If Heup is serious about opening up the offense now that we have a year under our belts, we definitely need to be utilizing the TE position... Did anyone ever confirm whether or not D Washington was going to hit the portal? I swear I heard or saw someone mention the possibility... I'd take him ..

Lest we forget.
Would love to see those figures after the 2007 season, before our precipitous drop and the Gumps once-in-a-millennium dynasty. With all the sh!t we've been through since 2008 and to still be second is really something.

I'd rather see what Mile Campbell, Charlie Browder, Julian Nixon, Jacob Warren, Princeton Fant can do. Nixon was a big WR recruit and has added even more weight. Browder is the UCF transfer that Alex had recruited down there and then everyone else will be entering year 2 in the offense and should be better for it.

regarding Randall Cobb…..yes, but I would have still taken him and I bet if you were to ask the Big Guy, he regrets he didn’t all RC a shot at QB.

I think I'm more disappointed that Cobb believed Kentucky. They gave him a total of 122 attempts passing in his career there, 99 were as a freshmen.

He finished at 50.8% for 598 yards 5 TDs & 5 INTs. He could have played alongside Denarius Moore for 3 seasons at WR and probably went even higher in the draft.

But we'll never know, what's clear now in hindsight is Fulmer was right about where Cobb should be playing though.

This is a concern but we should be better. I'm guessing Mincey at RT, which will help a lot.

Who do we start? Wright Carvin Cooper Spraggins Mincey. Then Crawford Parker Perry Robinson who should all develop. The freshman Addison too. Or how is it?

Anybody got a more informed opinion than mine as to how this might work out? I am all ears.

Our coach told him the truth and Kentucky told him a lie. He was never gonna play QB in college, but Kentucky told him he could and then moved him to WR. Our coaches told him he was a WR in college.
