Currently, we only have one scholarship to give for the upcoming class and that went to the guard from Knoxville. We gave 8 scholarships last year and that's unheard of when you can only have 13 on the team.

Thank you. I wasn't finding information. I am a little concerned about our next few years. Several of our higher recruited freshman look awfully tentative. And Alabama/Auburn are only getting better. Kentucky of course is Kentucky.

Out of the blue Question. What's going on with Men's BBALL recruiting? It doesn't seem promising. Read an article yesterday listing 'all Americans' coming in to the conference. Two going to Alabama. Two going to Kentucky. Zero coming to Tennessee.

BJ Edwards is already signed for this class...and we only have a spot for him IF KC leaves early (assuming no transfers, Fulky is a non-scholarship counting Super Senior)

So if Bailey decides not to come back (he could return next year and it's unclear if he'd get a "free" scholarship and be a super senior or not). We'd have one more spot.

I also think technically Santi, James, Uros, Olivier all could get an extra year as well.

So right now we have 1 signed and don't technically have a scholarship open for him (the assumption is KC leaves though and we use that one).

And then for the next class we may only have 1 scholarship as well...unless Bailey counts and is on scholarship next year.

Imagine this kid enrolled at West Virginia, lulz this is a SEC back if I ever seen one. Truth be told I don't think we have a back that can keep him off the field.
Yep

Hes just way more talented. Bigger faster.

The kind of back we used to always have and I've been saying he looks like all those damn UGA backs they've had since knowshone Moreno

Rather have talent from Ga, Fla ,NC,SC. Talent from Tenn to those states are [is] not even close.
Extremely dumb take. One decides on an individual basis. Sounds like a FF in-house troll all dressed up as "hotness." We are not recruiting a statistical average.

Glad you weren't in a position to refuse Jauan Jennings, Trey Smith, Derek Barnett, Reggie Cobb, or Reggie White.

We do have better individual options in this specific case.

You may think you are agreeing with people who rightly say we should have no positive in-state bias (and get emotional about it), but you are not. You are arguing against reason for a negative in-state bias, which is dumb.
