The other thing you have to look for is who funded these studies. Teacher’s unions are notorious for understating per pupil spending by only including local dollars instead of local, state, and federal spending

Home schooling? Very few parents have the skill set necessary to effectively educate kids.

I disagree. Part of the draw to private schools is to get your children away from what parents consider the riff raff. They will not want to have the riff raff move to the private schools. Therefore, private schools will raise prices.

I'm against vouchers too, but for a totally different reason. The government would use that as a backdoor way to influence private schools ("In order to take voucher money, the school must do XYZ.").

I’m neither ignorant or bigoted. Facts are facts. I have two kids in private schools and one in public and the differences are pretty stark. Thankfully he’s smart enough to succeed no matter where he goes

The purpose of private schools is to get your children away from poor policies that allow riff raff. The policies that allow the same students to present the same behavior issues on a daily basis with zero consequences and disrupt the learning environment.

No, I have a problem funding institutions that already do not pay property taxes or any taxes for that matter and provide religious instruction.
