Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Knocking down mailboxes is like burning someone's buisness to the ground or taking everything inside? Not to me. How did all those urban kids get pallets of bricks set everywhere? These were staged and planned out way higher than "urban kids" on FB or Twitter.
I have no idea what you are talking about. How many BLM rallies did you attend? How about your kids?
I went to a couple, my kids went to several - never saw a pile of bricks, looting, or violence.

I went to two. Saw looting and vandalism in both. And that's not even counting what all happened outside the CNN building.

The response by the actual protesters was the same as the media. Just ignore it and pretend it didnt happen.

Wow. We certainly had some differing experiences. Unfortunate that both of your events were among the 3% that involved some level of looting or vandalism. I guess I'm just lucky that all of the multiple events attended by friends and family happened to be among the 97% that were totally peaceful.

Now back to the Rona.

The BLM rally in downtown Roanoke was fueled by thugs that bussed in from Richmond. They burned a few dumpsters but the worst was they came through busting car windows, breaking into businesses, and threatening people about two miles outside downtown in the neighborhood I lived in.

That's when I brought my guns from my parents' country house to our apartment.

If you form a committee at work to serve as advisors for company wide planning and decisions, you will pick someone from each of the major departments. If you realize you do not have a representative for R and D, then you will probably feel that the best person to fill the next vacancy will be someone from the R and D department. If you realize you have four representatives from finance and accounting, you will probably conclude that the best candidate for the next two or three vacancies will not come from finance and accounting.

Forming a committee is the quickest way to get nothing done.

Atlanta and surrounding areas.
No sane person would claim that their were not idiots at some protests who became rioters.
Just as no sane person would claim that BLM protests were all (or even mostly) riots.

lol......I understand small scale.
I also understand large scale and the negative impacts of decisions made without proper input from those with pertinent information.

Input is great but committees suck.

Ever seen a statute built to honor a committee?
There is a reason a jury is 12 and not 1.
That the supreme court is 9 and not 1.
That an officiating crew is 7 and not 1.
That we had the Founding Fathers and not the Founding Father.
That corporations have a board of directors.

Do you think you have a point?

All listed get it wrong all too often, and including the FFs was stupid.

Of course I have a point.
The only thing that would have led to them being wrong more often would have been to have fewer people.

Probably the best result of committees is the number of bad decisions they keep from ever being implemented.

Committees suck and insulate the weak from blame.
