Burrow is the kind of quarterback that makes mediocre coaches look good and puts a team in the playoffs that hasn't been good for years.

What amazes me about Burrow is that the light just flipped on for him. He'd been ok but nothing special until his final season at LSU. He found a gear that was insane and stayed in it. Usually that doesn't happen for older QBs and a lot of folks thought that it was the OC but with Burrow it's not just the OC. Something changed in how he played.

Without players you are watching grass grow lol. What are you going to watch without the players?
Oh there are many things..watch or play more golf, get more involved with grandkids sports. Many of these kids would have a hard time without a scholarship and a means to show their skills to the NFL. Players definitely need us more than we need them.

Yes really. Going for two before halftime is always dumb. You don't know if you will need that point. The xp is not as automatic as it used to be but you 100% kick it in the second quarter
I get what you're saying but you have all the momentum and not getting 2 pts with how the defender is playing is not a big deal

He was happy. That was last spring at my nephews wedding. Although he was too weak to stand with the wedding party, he was so proud if his grandson's accomplishments. He was dependent on oxygen then but I'm happy that the photographer removed it for the picture. That's the first thing I did was take that thing off when he passed.

Good to see you back. Nice pic of your Dad. Its so heart breaking losing a parent and especially when your use to doing everything with them growing up. I traveled around the world for many of years with mine. But both of our dad's are no longer suffering.

You’re just our McGill! You give your opinion and explain why you think so. There are others that can’t wait for something bad to happen so they can say “I told you so!” (Have them on ignore.) You admit when you’re wrong! I kinda use you as my bottom on win/losses because I use a if everything goes wrong to if everything goes right scale for the season. Last year I said 5-8 and was ecstatic with 8. But I am going to go with optimistic pessimist since you expect the worst but are hopeful it might not happen.
Sounds about right..lol.

HS...or some other lower level ball that represents my state as true amateurs for the love of the school, the place and an opportunity to get an expensive and valuable education that hundreds of MILLIONS of us could never afford for their children, or that the children themselves can only get by burying themselves under a mountain of debt.

I wish we and other schools would pull out and start their own AAC with true amateurs who have agreed to play for those reasons, and coaches who agree to work for common sense money.

**** all this mercenary 🦬💩...you can switch colors and pull for whatever NFL minor league group of sorry mercenaries you choose.

Something else. How are some of those players getting into and paying for college without our money?
Exactly...it is impossible for me to sympathize with these guys. I work hard and struggle to get by. They get an education plus room and board and all they can eat that is worth more than I make in ten years of hard work.

Not really
Pretty straightforward decision this early in the game. From 1 yard I'd have to guess DH easily makes it 75%+ of the time. NFL-wide a run is good 68%. So we're talking 1.36 expected points vs just a bit less than 1.0

Nearing the 4th quarter and it would be a lot tougher. Would be a very clear "no go" if from the 2 yd line. Even from the 1, thinking still a no go.

First half - go go.
