Unless CJH says it do t believe itSwain actually has connections. He talks to former players. He has connections in the admin because he is a former player. If nothing else he has a direct line to Brent Hubbs. There is no one in media who has more information about Tennessee Football than Brent Hubbs.
Or maybe CRG was a big part of those d-line guys comingSwain is talking about going forward. The NIL deal had just gotten started. But, it was NIL that caused us to close strong on signing day. Without NIL there's no Williams, West, or Pearce just to name a few. NIL will not be a problem for TN. We won't outbid A&M, but NIL will not be a problem for us.
I hate this crap. I have no problem with NIL as it is supposed to be intended..but not this nightmare. Of course it has to happen when we are at our lowest point in..well forever. I told all of y'all that were celebrating this crap when it was opened up, that this would do nothing but harm Tennessee. I see zero evidence that it is going to help Tennessee Volunteers, and an abundance of evidence that is extremely detrimental.Idk specifics on Banks. I haven’t really tried to find anything out for sure, but I have heard some people say that’s what they thought Nolan Smith was getting to come back at UGA… and based on how NIL seems to be working with current players, a kid hears a rumor of what someone else is getting paid and they then think they should automatically get it. That’s why I think the portal might be super, super active after the spring semester.
NIL is going to give a lot of kids a crash course in supply and demand and also how important timing is in the world. A bunch of kids are hitting the portal across the country cause they feel like they missed out on NIL money by not being in this first class or this year’s transfer portal.
I love NIL and I love kids being able to transfer, but I hate them being introduced at the same time. It’s a brutal combination for both of these new rules to be happening at once.
Who said he's always right? But we're not talking about opinions. He knows who is involved. He strongly implied Peyton is. You think he's making it up?He definitely has more info than me. Doesn't mean he's always right.
It has been my experience that in the 10+ years that I have been listening to Swain (maybe 12-13 years now), that when he takes a hard stance or "sets the record straight", more often than not he's right. What about when Swain says something completely opposite of Hubbs?
Did I say he doesn't know anything? I just suggested he doesn't know everything.Who said he's always right? But we're not talking about opinions. He knows who is involved. He strongly implied Peyton is. You think he's making it up?
He had the Spyre guys on his show. Met with them last summer before NIL was even legal. He has connections to the very guys who are running our NIL program. But sure, he don't know anything
My "go to"? Trying to have a somewhat normal conversation, but seems impossible with you flying off the handle and losing your ****. How much of a "disaster" has it been that these atheletes have been nothing but a cash cow for everyone but themselves? Is that your go to? This stuff is a disaster...you are blind.

How do you believe everything swain says but totally disregard de1conley or whatever his name isNobody said he didn't
None of that answered the question. I'm not anti-Swain. I'm more or less pulling Bass's chain. But Bass said trust Swain because he talks to Hubbs. Just the other day it was reported Hubbs said Texas outdid us on NIL for Neyor while Swain said that didn't happen. So who do we believe? It has been my experience that in the 10+ years that I have been listening to Swain (maybe 12-13 years now), that when he takes a hard stance or "sets the record straight", more often than not he's right.
I see former and current players co-sign his statements as fact.
When he peels back the curtain for the fan, he's not misleading them. I appreciate that about Swain that he gives fans that experience. I choose to trust him.
It was Baron. There were rumblings a few weeks ago that a significant player on the team would enter the portal if UT didn’t match an NIL deal he was being offered from another team.
I thought that was Baron and it was handled when he jumped in and then back out of the portal.
I guess it could be Banks. Don’t think he would garner a huge push from other teams IMO.
Did Brent Hubbs not just say we were outbid by Texas for Neyor but then Swain says the next day we were absolutely not outbid.Swain actually has connections. He talks to former players. So you have the Peyronie's disease, do ya?Your Mom doesn't mind my lean, in fact she very much appreciates it.
Besides, if I did walk clockwise...View attachment 429900
Lol I’m not gonna act like this is the word of God. This guy has passed along info that other Memphis area players have told him before that hasn’t panned out. But I know for 100% fact he spoke with him over the last 24 hours. JB has expressed interest in transferring before, when Pruitt was canned, and this staff got him to buy in and stick around. Hopefully they can do it one more time.Well good for him
Credit @berryvol for the meltdown starting lol
