I hate this crap. I have no problem with NIL as it is supposed to be intended..but not this nightmare. Of course it has to happen when we are at our lowest point in..well forever. I told all of y'all that were celebrating this crap when it was opened up, that this would do nothing but harm Tennessee. I see zero evidence that it is going to help Tennessee Volunteers, and an abundance of evidence that is extremely detrimental.

I am a Volunteer, I only care about what it means for Tennessee, and all it seems to mean for us is more crap to try to overcome.

I don't love it...I hate it with every fiber of my being right now.

Who said he's always right? But we're not talking about opinions. He knows who is involved. He strongly implied Peyton is. You think he's making it up?

He had the Spyre guys on his show. Met with them last summer before NIL was even legal. He has connections to the very guys who are running our NIL program. But sure, he don't know anything

It has been my experience that in the 10+ years that I have been listening to Swain (maybe 12-13 years now), that when he takes a hard stance or "sets the record straight", more often than not he's right.

I see former and current players co-sign his statements as fact.

When he peels back the curtain for the fan, he's not misleading them. I appreciate that about Swain that he gives fans that experience. I choose to trust him.

My "go to"? Trying to have a somewhat normal conversation, but seems impossible with you flying off the handle and losing your ****. How much of a "disaster" has it been that these atheletes have been nothing but a cash cow for everyone but themselves?

Swain is also a preferred mouthpiece of DW. His push on NIL the other day wasn’t a coincidence.

He knows things and is fed lots of info. And I don’t see this in a negative light, as I believe a lot of what he said the other day.

It’s the same as picking recruiting services to fit an agenda
Our recruit rankings and transfer portal commits will reflect our NIL deals and right now we’re not crushing it

None of that answered the question. I'm not anti-Swain. I'm more or less pulling Bass's chain. But Bass said trust Swain because he talks to Hubbs. Just the other day it was reported Hubbs said Texas outdid us on NIL for Neyor while Swain said that didn't happen. So who do we believe?

Did Brent Hubbs not just say we were outbid by Texas for Neyor but then Swain says the next day we were absolutely not outbid.

So who is right. The all-connected Swain or the " there is no one in media who has more information about Tennessee Football," Brent Hubbs?

Who knows? I do know Swain pushes agendas and pumps sunshine on certain things.

Lol I’m not gonna act like this is the word of God. This guy has passed along info that other Memphis area players have told him before that hasn’t panned out. But I know for 100% fact he spoke with him over the last 24 hours. JB has expressed interest in transferring before, when Pruitt was canned, and this staff got him to buy in and stick around. Hopefully they can do it one more time.
