Day 3 of covid. Tell me something to cheer me up!

Since Daniels already transferred, does he have to go down to the FCS level to play next season or can he still transfer and play immediately?

He's transferring as a grad transfer so it looks like he can play immediately. Cincinnati is a landing spot since they need immediate help at QB's with experience

Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers.

As many of you know, my dad has been suffering from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. It's basically a lung disease where your lung tissue just hardens with scar tissue. Idiopathic means they don't know what causes it. There is no cure other than a lung transplant.

He was diagnosed a little over two years ago, just a few months before my mom died of Alzheimers disease. He progressively got worse where he literally could not convert air to oxygenate his body.

He's been ready to go for some time. He passed early this morning a little after 3:00AM.

My dad and I were literally best friends. He was in business with me until retirement when he quit to care for my mom. No way I could have gotten this business off the ground without him. It's a huge loss for me but I take comfort in that He's no longer suffering.

Again, thanks to all my friends here who prayed or just had us in your thoughts. Please continue to pray for peace for our family. He was really a great man that everyone that knew him loved him. I seriously don't know of anyone that didn't like him.

Thanks to @LA Vol and @Orange Studs who were always asking about him. This is a community of some really great folks here. Thanks, @Freak for giving us this platform.

Finally, if your fortunate enough to still have your parents around, please give them a hug. They won't always be there.

Hey Batman,
Organize a VN Vegas trip to support a former Volunteer player…we could play golf too…would need to be an off weekend for the Vols of course.

You say that in jest, but I do own a time share at Tahiti Village, and I've been out there for golf many times. I use the time share for my family members who just want to get away from their everyday life. Covid has put a dent in it for the past few years though.

Ya'll need to quit posting players entering the portal, it's getting comical at this point... apparently this staff thinks we are "good to go" and don't need any help, especially on defense... we like having our defense on the field 80% of the game, not stopping anyone, and trying to score last in order to get the W... Banks is in control and tearing it up, just look at his recruiting hotboard! Elite defensive talent is lining UP to come here!

I’ll have to give it a try… I’m down 13 pounds in three weeks since my surgery. But I need more options and switch things up. Getting older sucks lol

Really, finding a non-starchy vegetable that you like is primo. Because you can eat a pound of it if you're hungry! No bad consequences.

I’m so sorry for your loss, there’s absolutely nothing I can say to make it better, but do as you requested and pray that GOD gives you comfort.

There is a drop/add period to college that some of our fanbase have apparently never experienced, not saying there is anything wrong with that. Plenty of good jobs out there that doesn’t require a degree
