Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Chattanooga's hospitals said, due to a surge of COVID-19 patients, they will discontinue COVID-19 tests to all but those with serious symptoms.

A joint statement was issued by CHI Memorial, Parkridge and Erlanger.

It says: "In order to best devote our Emergency Room staffs’ time to caring for the increasing number of patients with medical emergencies such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, or other conditions that require urgent medical attention, CHI Memorial, Erlanger Health System and Parkridge Health System will not be administering COVID-19 tests in the Emergency Room to patients with non-emergent symptoms such as runny nose, persistent cough, or change in taste or smell.
If it's not an emergency, don't go to the ER. What a concept.

I'll be curious as to how they drew the line between mandates for large businesses are unconstitutional but mandates for health care workers are not.

Is it jurisdictional? Maybe not the right word but most HC workers are covered by the EO mandate for any orgs that are govt contractors or take govt money. The businesses are covered under the OSHA rule that claims jurisdiction via workplace safety.

There are 2 different mandates

To me it's more curious that the EO covering Fed workers and contractors is allowed to excuse the USPS.

We need an answer as to why they want there to be a mandate. We know that the vaccine does not stop or even slow the spread of the virus. So why should people be forced to vaccinate? It isn't doing anything for them. Only thing I can think is that theres money to be made from forcing people to vaccinate

You seem to be ignoring the important fact that being vaccinated helps dramatically in it being mild.

I’m not so sure.
I’ve been updating houses for several of these people who came to Tennessee from New York and California. They have all been voting with their feet. The people I’ve encountered are all fleeing the political left.

Real estate agent friend of mine says about 80% of her clients are coming from NY and California. Says they make it very clear to her they have no intention of turning Tennessee blue. Trying to escape Democratic controlled states. We’ll see if they holds.

Did Biden ever explain why the mandate for 100+ employee businesses, but not <100?

Why are 100 employees a hazard but 99 are not?
Of course not. It made no sense to begin with. They pulled the 100 figure out of their ass and had no logical reasoning behind it. If it were truly about the health and safety of people then it should have applied to every business with more than one employee.

So the vaccine now causes brain damage.

Just tuned into the #3 ranked UCLA Bruins take on Oregon and there are no fans in the stands. That sucks.

Yesterday, I met a lady that just moved to Bradenton from Orange Co., CA (originally from Vietnam). She was telling me that she and her husband saved up and finally opened a nail salon in OC only to have it shut down during 2020. It was heartbreaking hearing her story.

I go to church with a couple who moved to Ga from California. They were telling me the other day about a guy in their area who got arrested last year because he was surfing during lockdown. No joke. They also said the city was shutting off the water supply to churches etc. I can't phantom living somewhere like that

We all see the stories about CA on the news but when you hear real-life examples to your face it takes it to a new level.

The lady I spoke with had tears in her eyes. She then brought up the "looting" laws and she just had to laugh. They went from saving up enough to open their own business to moving across the country to work in their relatives' business. So sad.

+90% are already mild.

Your "dramatic" improvement is, at best, 9% above the base line. I wouldnt call that dramatic. Significant, observable, stastically important, yes. Dramatic, no.

Uhh... that was cringey, yet entertaining.

February 2021, all top US officials said the shot would 100% protect you from covid, the variants, and you could lose the masks. Breakthrough cases at a rapid rate a couple months later and they flipped the script to what you're saying today.

It isn't working so, why get it? This isn't smallpox. It's a cold that you have a 99.8% survivability rate. Numbers out of Ontario show the ones with the shot are out numbering the ones that don't have it in the hospitals there. Now you have these leaked papers on Fauci Tuesday that showed all of us "conspiracy theorists" were correct even down to what therapeutics worked.

And the kids under 18 with a survivability rate of 99.9999999999% definitely doesn't need it.

The left is going hard after Joe Rogan. They absolutely cannot stand for the truth to get out. Anything that contradicts their narrative, a narrative that has been shown to be wrong so many times, must be silenced.

Make no mistake, the left does not care about truth. The left wants control. All dissenters must be silenced. This is really scary for the future of this country.
