Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

It hasn’t been a focal point at all. I did not think there were so many Americans with BMI > 45 in my life. Unfortunately big pharma has offered a pill for everything. To lose weight, insulin if you are diabetic and can’t control eating habits, sleeping pills of you don’t do physical activity that makes you sleep better, supplements for diet because most people eat like crap.
A good hard days work takes care of many of those problems.
Several decades of health via pharmacy, increasingly sedentary lifestyles, and chronic overeating have come home to roost.

Bud Adams for IA gov..I know he is dead but lets not get into that as sometimes it no matter in elections.

I believe you are correct in some areas, but I disagree with you on a few items.

First off, we all need to stop calling it a vaccine. It is not. The CDC had to change the definition of a vaccine because this shot didn't meet the criteria of a vaccine.

Secondly, we have no idea if the "vaccine" is really helping anyone at all. Since the CDC is not collecting and sharing the comorbidities associated with each death, there is no way to know how effective this shot is at all. Maybe the ones "vaccinated" do not have 3-4 comorbidities whereas the ones that have died may have most likely died had they contracted the flu or any other respiratory virus regardless of their "vaccine" status.

Third, with 90%+ deaths coming from people over the age of 50% there is no reason at that children should take this shot. The risks far outweigh the benefits unless the child is immunocompromised.

You are absolutely correct in stating this has become political. It has been since it started. Remember the Democrat philosophy, never let a good crisis go to waste.

I agree with most of this. I’m with you: I don’t think of the vaccine as a vaccine in the traditional sense, but will refer to it as the COVID vaccine to avoid confusion.

I also 100% regarding children. I wouldn’t get the vaccine anywhere near mine.

The point on effectiveness of the vaccine is a bit squishy. We don’t know how exactly how effective it is, but it’s hard to argue that those who have taken fare better than those who haven’t when it comes to fatal outcomes. I have not seen it quantified (which I believe is odd) but the data I have seen suggests it is helpful in reducing catastrophic symptoms.

None of these issues discussed here alter how simple this should be: let people make their own risk assessment and act accordingly. It would be much more helpful to everyone weighing the decision if proper data was made available: risk by age; by health factors; and true effectiveness of vaccine, including infection, transmission, and outcome.

I can think of some good non-epidemiological reasons why Macron might choose to wear a mask while in a room alone participating in a Zoom meeting. Has no one noticed, however, that's he's not alone in this picture?
???

I see an extra notepad where someone may have been seated.

Masks don't work to stop Covid. The "immunization" or boosters don't work to stop Covid. The problem is the Democrats (and some Republicans) are so vested in continuing the "pandemic" they can't admit the courses of action have been wrong the whole time.
This is world wide idiocy. Not just our lunatics.

It's not a therapy. The vaccine isn't something you can take to treat covid after you've gotten it. Therapy by definition treats a condition. Vaccine is not a treatment. Granted, it didn't meet the definition of vaccine either, hence the change by the CDC, FDA or whatever
How about it subdues symptoms (allegedly) ?
