Oh. That’s the major part. Using gas is just cleaner all the way around. Last night I told OS to assume 98% of all posts have 67% sarcasm. I fully expected this to be 100% sarcasm in your ideaI was thinking it might be the same reason I would, wood burning fireplaces are not environmentally friendly.
My dad runs his gas to the gas grill and i think it’s fantasticAnd you could then get a gas line run to your kitchen for a gas range. When I did that I also had them run a line to the backyard for a grill so I would not have to have tanks. And yes, I still had a charcoal grill that I used often, but gas grills are very convenient.
I would recommend buying your own tank. A 500 gal should run you about 1k or less. We run our whole household on a 500 gal LP tank. If you are just using a fireplace you can go smaller. The problem with owning is that you have to schedule your deliveries. If you lease like we do, they do that for you but you are tied to that one company for LP gas. It should really be easy after that. Getting into the fireplace may be a little difficult if it goes all the way to the ground although you could just drill through either the side or the back.I can. That’s where the Google estimations get weird. Some prices don’t seem so bad, some seem astronomical
