At least three personally- one of them "bakes" on the side (read: gets baked) and has openly bragged about not paying rent through the whole pandemic.
I laid out the math in a post just above- and yet you still sit here spouting off. A family of 4, in Roanoke City, can bring in over $5K in cash and cannot be evicted from their rented space. This is just from widely available government programs alone- it's not counting the additional support from non-profits that is available here. What wage has to be paid for someone to take home $5K after taxes?
I'm on a message board complaining because I have COVID. Should I be out and about?
And last, we have two friends that own restaurants that are having issues in Roanoke City. My wife is running the social media for free for one. I have stepped in as her bus boy and helped at the bar and with dishes on busy weekends a few times since she opened two months ago, as well as gone in and fixed wiring, networking, PoS, and whatever stuff she needed done in her space- because the contractors can't get anyone hired to finish work either. For the other friends, we have run and picked up deliveries and helped with whatever miscellaneous things they need. Why? Because we owned a business here and got out when we saw the combination of factors enforced by the government that made us want to get out.
So in short, you're
1) ignorant
2) unaware
3) a jackass
4) should probably go ahead and STFU
Nice work!
