The rumor is the Purdue players are out because of grades. That happens at the end of a semester
Omicron is the reason. More contagious but also supposedly not as severe.
I'll never understand this line of thinking. Beating someone that's nowhere near their best means exactly what? If it's just a win hell let's move to the MAC. We can get all kinds there
True....but a lot of times a school will spend all their payout on expenses on the team....family....spouses....boosters....band....big wheels etc....So does vandy but I assume tamu also won't get a payout so it lowers the conference purse
My good friend has it, hes 62, had both Moderna shots and booster, no symptoms but has tested positive.Much less severe. I still don't see these cancellations happening during the regular season. I don't believe vaccinated players even have to be tested if they aren't showing any symptoms. Seems like Texas A&M was one of the teams bragging about having nearly their entire team vaccinated as well

With Texas A&M not playin in their bowl look for a lot of teams to follow suit. In my opinion one more team cancels and it’ll be like dominoes.
I agree. But if they lose healthy players just because they choose not to play, then that's no cause for cancellation. Let's see who has the most capable backups, even if down to walk-ons.Not going to cheer for the other teams players to get Covid. I'd much rather have 2 healthy teams and we still win the game.
I think Coach Heupel said that asymptomatic, vaccinated players do not have to be tested. I think unvaccinated and those vaccinated who have symptoms, get tested 48 hours before kickoff.Much less severe. I still don't see these cancellations happening during the regular season. I do hope you are correct. It does make sense. I am sure that the NY6 and playoff games will all happen, come hell or highwater. At this point, it's become a convenient excuse to cancel bowl games for teams with a lot of opt-outs and transfers, it seems. I highly doubt any of the bigger bowl games/playoff games are canceled or moved at all.
They will probably covid out the next day or so.
