OMG..come on man...Beamer is getting all this praise because he took out two teams that laid down and took a dive for them.

We were in total shambles we had been f'n nuked into oblivion...there is zero shame in saying the Heupel did a great coaching job..better than goofy wanker Beamer.

Everybody also forgets...Hooker was somebody else's garbage, he was never expected by anybody to do what he did...and that is all thanks to Heup.
I'll never compare the wins and happenings at UK with a Florida and will never compare things at USCjr and UT.

And fwiw it's not praise...it's just wrapped up condescension. I don't want any of that "bless your heart" nonsense at 6-6...then I'll know we're truly at USCjr's level. It's just pathetic patting one's head, not genuine praise lol.

What is PNA?
PNA stands for the "Pacific/North American" pattern which reflects the upper-level heights and jet stream location across North America. In a negative PNA phase, we get ridging and warmer weather across the Eastern U.S. with troughing and colder weather across the West Coast. It's the opposite in a positive phase. We are in a pretty good La Nina episode right now with cooler waters across the Pacific, so the troughing and negative phase of the PNA are the general rule in this setup.

Bull crap. It is just the truth...you have had some weird denial of the reality of our roster situation all year long. Everybody sees it for the miracle it really was...except for you and mr cheggarboards.

I was going to ask if this was typical of a strong La Nina pattern...thanks for answering before I could ask.ol.

I am afraid this is just the beginning.
While I am a believer of covid, got shots/booster, it is high time We simply continue moving forward. It's been almost 2 years, folks ain't changing their position regardless of what side of the fence they reside....lets.move.on ! We have been divided by this for far too long !

Good story about Jakob Johnson:

How Jakob Johnson Is Helping Define the Post–Tom Brady Patriots

"Johnson appeared in just 13 games over four seasons at the University of Tennessee, falling into the meat grinder that often traps players unaware of football culture and the different political pathways to the field. He switched positions. He dealt with injuries. While he says now he has no hard feelings, he found himself spending time between his junior and senior year flying down to Florida to stay at an old high school coach’s house, with the coach offering to spend eight to 10 hours each day on the field with him teaching him how to catch and run routes, vital skills he never learned in college.

He said he didn’t know how to take advantage of what instruction Tennessee’s coaches could offer. He couldn’t grasp basic terms like “pro-style offense” that were thrown around regularly. He was homesick, having been back to Germany just twice in four years, and was completely out of money. He found work at the hippie-themed pizzeria in order to afford plane tickets home for himself and his girlfriend after his pro day ended with no interest.

“Those were definitely weird times,” he says."

Lol if "everybody" is :checks notes: NOT Vegas and ESPN/FPI. Shoot, most of the RF (minus the negas), not the FF tho, thought we were bowlworthy. Bass actually pounded it all offseason and plenty others thought we had enough to go bowling and then some. I think Bass bet someone too.

But I digress, this is really missing my point anyway. It's about not wanting to lower ourselves and want these facetious "accolades" as if we're Vandy. It's a slap in the freakin face. If Napier goes 8-4 next year does he earn an "A" and coty? We need higher standards if we think the head coach of the University of Tennessee should win COTY for 7-5. That's nuts. Neyland would throw that trophy in the trash. I think Heupel would too. He knows our standards.
