This has to be just for people who are positive? If you are vaccinated and asymptomatic, you don't have to quarantine. Does A&M have that many positives?

Right - if you are vaccinated and/or asymptomatic I don’t think you have to do the 10 day quarantine. So this means that ATM either has:
A) a ton of kids who are actually showing signs of illness
B) a ton of kids not showing outward symptoms, but testing positive, or
C) Just didn’t feel like playing their bowl game and wanted to pull a Penny to skip out of it.

My guess is “C”.

The way Omicron is progressing right now, it's very simple. Test your asymptomatic players if you don't want to play. Because when this spike hits after Christmas a ton of people are going to get Omicron and not even know it.
