I haven't watched Arizona. Are they long? Physical underneath?

Feels like we win games where we shoot well on the first shot, but lose games where we have to rebound (against good opponents).

While our defense has some interesting stats to parade around (TFLs, etc), they need to markedly improve next heart for us to win anything significant. I think depth played a big part but they have to be much better period. We were atrocious on 3rd down and in the red zone like you mentioned.

UK didn’t punt against us. That’s just bad

It's puzzling how bad we were against mobile QBs since we can practice against against it.

Defense will improve when we get some specialist to come in on third down and get pressure by rushing 4. We relied way too heavily on a mediocre LB blitz. We had to be near the bottom of all of college football when getting stops on 3rd and long.

Anyone who has studied Tennessee’s history will understand that we don’t have 6 national championships. Fulmer and Dickey will both tell you that the 67 team was not a national champion. Just because some poll that no one paid any attention to back then had us number one doesn’t make it so.

'67 wasn't and '56 is questionable; but '38 and '39 were. At that time NC was decided before the bowl games, they were truly just rewards, both teams were undefeated and '39 wasn't even scored on. So I get your point about not 6, but 2 ain't right either. Objectively probably 4.

I was 16 and saw it at the drive-in with a couple of buddies. As I was dropping them off at home, fog started rolling in. Very unusual for Memphis. By the time I got home the fog is so thick it kind a looks like the movie. I was so scared that I wouldn’t get out of my car. When I finally made it in the house, I was convinced that my mom snoring meant that she was possessed by Satan… The exorcist is definitely a scary ass movie.

Way behind but had to comment on this. I saw it in Memphis too at the Park theater, myself and a buddy got very high and literally the only 2 seats left were on the front row, have to admit it was quite intense. Felt like that vomit was coming at me. Lol

That’s when I used to work out, but now pets get riled up if they know I am up…waking up the family is not worth it

You must sleep like I did before Covid, I had only been a 5-6 hour a night (and a lot of times could go on much less) sleeper since I got off drugs back in 98...but Covid has obviously ruined that forever.

I have to get at least 7-8 hours now and have I several days a month where I have to mainline caffeine to stop being drowsy..I hate it, I have always hated sleeping, it is the biggest waste of time in your life I am jealous...and I want my old pre-covid life back.

Yep, Ye Olde steakhouse. Need to go back. It's been a min. Last time I was there was disappointed.

Went over Thanksgiving break. It has definitely taken a turn for the worse. Prime rib is still good, but other steaks are awful. Dessert menu is down to 5 cakes vs 20+ in the olde days.

This is why I have no one on ignore. Used to have several but I'd keep seeing note about ignored content then I would click to see who else everyone was arguing with and end up reading anyway, easier to just scroll through once I see the avatar.

The quality of meat is what's dropped off for me. My wife gets the skewers and I usually get what should be a better cut of beef. Her's is always better.

Everybody dies, but we're never ready for someone we love to die, no matter the "eventuality" of the situation. Tyson was never quite the same after Cus passed. Knowing something is going to happen doesn't necessarily prepare you for it.

But if he needed to survive for Tyson to not self destruct? What kind of life plan is that? D’Amato was a boxing lifer who didn’t get married until his 60’s and then used his wife’s mansion to house and train boxers. He was a father FIGURE to Tyson and actually adopted him out of reform school when he was 12-13…but he had no skills as a FATHER. Cus trained Floyd Patterson and spent the rest of his life looking for that next great fighter. Helping him as a MAN wasn’t on the docket. From everything I’ve read and watched (including Tyson the documentary), Mike was on borrowed time. Yes, the old man’s death shook him…but he never had a chance. He wasn’t prepared for the calvacade of serpents who develop arms when there’s millions of dollars involved. He didn’t trust the manager and trainer who had been there from the outset and they were the ONLY ones who had never screwed him.

Yeah, and 30-0 vs Clemson wasn't a good look either. But he also basically ended Mehlen's tenure at Florida.

The Florida team quitting ended Mehlens tenure at Florida...SC didn't have a damn thing to do with it other than being in the right place at the right time.

Flip us in the schedule and Florida stomps them by forty, and we beat Florida by twenty.
