Our 2 linebackers for 90% of the season. Same thing for safety. And runningback.
Those 3 positions will end up being 3 of our strongest spots because they are going to be filled with 4 year starters

Just being there for 4 years does not make one more talented.

Safety and LB were the two spots most noticeably in need of upgrading on the field this year.

Ali only used the rope a dope once. The guy he used it against, Prime Foreman, was a bigger puncher than Tyson ever dreamt of being. There’s a reason why Foreman was able to come back so late in life… even at nearly 50 no one wanted to stand in and bang with him.

Prime Ali dissects Prime Tyson and it’s not even a great fight due to styles and Tysons lack of length. Prime Tyson and Prime Frazier would be a better contest.

Frazier beat the hell out of Ali and vice versa...pre-prison Tyson was an even quicker and meaner version of Joe..

My favorite boxer of all time, at any weight class, is James Toney. If y’all haven’t seen it and you love the sweet science look up his fight with Jirov. The man’s ability to defend and return fire in a phone booth without moving his feet is one of the purest displays of athletic ability I’ve ever seen.

James Toney is the GOAT, if he’s able to make weight and stop smoking cigars when training.

Beamer is just a hype man IMO. Caught lightning in bottle against Florida and people are overreacting to it. Anyone who’s just about in tears after beating East Carolina strikes me as someone who doesn’t really have the temperament for this level of ball.

How about you win as much as you can as fast as you can, and reap the benefits when a bunch of recruits start wanting on board. Because a lot of guys aren’t going to give us a look if we keep farting around going 5-6 with a lot of coach speak about development and how we’re young, etc, etc. I’ve had enough of that too.

If we were to bring an awesome transfer RB to split reps with Smalls, and allow the coaches to bring Wright, Sampson, and Williams along, the position group would not be worse.

One of the two would probably look at transferring. You dont take playing time away from someone youre already giving it to and give it to a transfer
