- Barnes made it clear that Memphis could have played and they did not want to play
- Rick said he would have pulled kids out of the student body to play LOL
- Memphis played in Brooklyn earlier this year under the guise that the team was 90% vaccinated. Penny later said he misspoke about that number.
- They did not come out and say it, but they think Arizona is a little overrated.
- In Tennessee's 8 wins, they are shooting 39.6% from 3 and in their 2 losses they are shooting 16% from 3.
- Most likely no Cade Mays for the Music City Bowl but other than that the team is healthy.
- Tennessee might take a swing at Jordan James, but AP is not sure about that

Banks just went to Mississippi St. I think my biggest complaint right now is the secondary efforts whether it is the way we have played and recruited. Surprising really with Martinez being so experienced in the SEC
