Upset victories are a good indicator of coaching prowess. The only realnegative I have from the season is the Florida game. That was ultimately a bad team. They are more talented but they just beat them selves.
You missed my sarcastic point..Ole Piss and Pitt games were stolen by absolute garbage refs, and as far as Flahrduh is concerned, they are no where near as bad a team as they looked after they f'n quit a halfway into the season.

Sigh, makes me miss the BCS or just the AP and Coaches’ poll consensus. I’ll admit I wanted a playoff, but in hindsight, I was wrong. When I’m wrong, I’ll be the first to admit it. I was wrong. I agree with @SSVol, in what he posted today.
I hated the old system...the only thing wrong now is the small number allowed in the playoffs, which is why until this year most of the top 100 kids were going to 4-5 schools. This year is the beginning of the chaotic free agency era where a team like ATM saw the chance to literally buy a team...so it will be different from here on out.

I have said for forty years that Div1 should have a system just like the lower leagues, and I have never understood why they didn't.

Everybody loses games they maybe shouldn’t have. It’s going to be part of the life of any coach. Saban shouldn’t have lost to A&M, but he did..

With that said, the Florida we played was a lot better than the Florida that finished the season. Happens all the time with them. They give us their best game, then they lay down and quit if/when they lose that Georgia game.

Bowls have always been meaningless unless you were in title contention. But the extra practice time is great for developing guys.
They are not meaningless..that is a stupid statement.

Was the 85 Sugar Bowl meaningless? Even a relatively minor bowl win like the Outback against Michigan is one of my favorite Vol games.

So fans are stupid and selfish because they are fans? Beginning to wonder if it’s not all a huge waste of time.
And a player not playing because he is injured was not part of the discussion. The discussion was about the shift from team to individual, and the effect that has had on the bowl games now being meaningless when they used to be amazing. It wasn’t about the players being drafted...It was about college football.
Us fanatics being "stupid and selfish" is the ONLY reason these players have this platform and a chance to go somewhere to train at a higher level to hone their skills.

I pray that at some point the NFL is forced to start a minor league system so all the mercenaries can go ride 💩y busses around the country, eat garbage food, have crappy training facilities, live in dump apartments...and play in front of the few hundred losers at crappy HS fields who would watch that garbage till they are called up or cut..

I would LOVE to see that happen so CFB can be what it is supposed to be.

Just out of curiosity, do you feel this way about minor league baseball?

So an individual who is about to be drafted should be shunned for playing in a bowl game that means nothing? Lol.

You don’t make sense. Has nothing to do with Team/Individual. Like I said I guarantee the players team is behind his decision and agrees.

The Bowl games that do matter guys don’t Opt out of.

For the other games who gives a crap if a draft prospect doesn’t play they are literally consolation games for the guys who couldn’t make it to the championship bowl games. Literally the equivalent of giving everyone a trophy for participation.
For the guys with NIL deals I wonder if there will be language in their contracts about having to play in bowl games.

Telling y’all this is a great hire and a big loss for Georgia. Usually coaches are schemers or recruiters. Dan is both.

if he’s successful there, he can then move up to a premier job in the South where he’ll actually have a chance at winning a title

You'd know, the way you lustily stare at them. My eyes are up here.

Betty White's sag at this point in her life but at least she wears a bra. You just let yours hang out the bottom of your shirt for all to see. Also, it isn't lust. It's like when you see a really bad car accident and can't look away.

LOL, No. If you recall I was trying to find a bourbon to give to my nephews. So I was going from store to store looking and one store recommended I enter their lottery. I had to take a buddy of mine with me to know what to buy.

Giving liquor to kids. How very @David Ubben of you.

I’m guessing this affects a few on here…

Count me in this. I know you can get Fubo or Hulu+ free for 7 days. I think I will wait until after Christmas to see whether or not its resolved, then sign up for a trial just so I can watch the better bowl games

However also read about Kodi there : No football for Youtube TV ?
Thoughts?

I have been using a VPN to stream as well through a link I found on here on VN:

SEC NETWORK live | TV Online

if you are stuck in a crunch and want to pirate, Stream East might have it.

Edit: doesn’t look like they do CBB sadly

More than half of the 20 players who signed with Tennessee on Wednesday are planning to join the Vols next month as early enrollees. Several of them have decided they don’t want to wait that long to get started.

Tennessee defensive line signee Jordan Phillips already has arrived on campus and started going through the Vols’ on-campus bowl practices Monday morning, and at least a half-dozen of the other early enrollees from Tennessee’s 2022 signing class are scheduled to arrive in Knoxville in time to start practicing with the team between Saturday and Monday.

Four-star wide receiver signee Kaleb Webb, a Top247 prospect from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Ga., and four-star running back signee Justin Williams of East Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga., told GoVols247 that they plan to go through their first practice with the Vols on Saturday.

Wide receiver signee Marquarius White of Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Ala., also said he expects to begin practicing at Tennessee on Saturday after signing with the Vols on Wednesday despite being pursued by Georgia down the stretch.

Four-star defensive line signee Tyre West of Tift County High School in Tifton, Ga., a former longtime Georgia commitment who chose Tennessee over Florida State on Wednesday, also is expected to arrive on campus as early as this weekend. But West, a Top247 prospect, hasn’t indicated to GoVols247 when he expects to participate in his first practice with the Vols.

Addison Nichols, a four-star offensive line signee from Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Ga., said he plans to practice at Tennessee for the first time on Monday. The Top247 prospect was one of the highest-ranked players in the Vols’ class.

Linebacker signee Elijah Herring of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., who gave Tennessee its first commitment for the 2022 class in April, also said he intends to join the Vols for a few of their on-campus bowl practices. He said he plans on “leaving Saturday or Sunday” to travel to Knoxville.

The only bowl games that matter are the last 3. As it should be.

So, is this a guarantee that if we lose a close game you won't criticize coaches and players since the game does not matter. I am not going to take shots at guys making the decision that number 2 has made, but I hope we don't lose the game late when our less talented replacement for him gets burned on a deep one. It will be a career ending loss for some and a permanent bowl record for some to defend. Games may not be impactive on championship calculations but they all matter. Heck, if we don't cover the spread in this game some will feature moral losses complete with NO EXCUSES disclaimers.

This is the guy I look to when I’m choosing a firearm. I don’t own a shotgun but you might want to checkout his videos:

Thanks, that's me too. Kept everything else but no shotguns since before the kids were born. Not familiar with who's put out a lemon recently and seen some names I've never shot - in any form.
Probably gonna go familiar and cringe while he scuffs it up, just to avoid issues.

And never trust a "top 10 ___ " list on anything, usually affiliate kickback schemes. Seems they all contain a known piece of junk, no matter what you're shopping.
