You think lowly Jackson St has the support and NiL structures to match FSU? I really doubt it, but I guess you never know.Sounds like he's just trying to keep the prying eyes of the NCAA away from campus
No one is saying these kids shouldn’t be making some money on NIL.. The problem is with how the rules currently are, the school with the richest alumni have an advantage over everyone else when it comes to recruiting. It needs to be limited in some way or the sport is just illegitimate.
We weren't meant to be, but they've already gotten to that point, and that was the ruling the Supreme Court made. At some point we have to accept that they're employees offering a service that makes their employer money, and should be compensated by their employer for that beyond the cost of school.Screw that.. they are not and were never meant to be "employees".
That's cool On3 shows distance from their hometown to each school. 7 miles from UCLA (beautiful campus btwTennessee in a great spot with 2023 QB Nico Iamaleava according to the VQ War Room.

you really think most college football fans are fans out of altruism to help kids get an education?I casually watch the NFL, but I invest heavily in college. Something I'm willing to do to provide a benefit to kids that otherwise wouldn't be able to attend college. When college ball is nothing more than NFL-lite, I doubt there will be as much incentive to donate. NIL and the portal have substantially degraded the emphasis on the school and have turned kids into mercenaries, just like their overpaid coaches. And yes, that will have (and already is having) a negative effect on college ball, and it's just starting.
The largest stadiums are college stadiums, not pro. The more college becomes like pro, the emptier the stadiums will be.
I don't begrudge college kids making money. I do resent my favorite hobby morphing into something I no longer love.
All of NCAA - but you can backcount and there's still some potential to blueshirt, but it's wonky.I don't understand it either both them and UGA have 26 currently signed and are leading for more elite kids to sign. I just don't understand how the numbers work, I thought the SEC had a 25 cap on new signings.
Deion is close with Dave Portnoy. He went for 1.5 milly. Nothing else to itYou think lowly Jackson St has the support and NiL structures to match FSU? I really doubt it, but I guess you never know.
I think a kid decided to go to a HBCU to, as he said, light a torch and a path for others. Exactly what Deion has been doing this whole time.

Fandom in college is greater than pros in some places (not all places) because of alimni bases, not because we hate that pro players actually get paid for their services.
dafuq@SoilVol what do you think about using plasma to enhance soil for plants?
