This has nothing to do with how well Heupel did today, but I can’t think of three more ridiculous classes than TAMU, Bama, and Georgia. That was insane.

Not bad hit rate for a “bad” recruiter having 12 of 20 kids signed as a four star prospect on at least one site.
What sort of context is there to that though? That's a pretty wide net, especially with 4 major sites now out there. I mean, by the composite - basically an average - it's 7 out of 20.

Just sayin...I've seen a stat like that before mentioned, but then you look at other teams classes and a lot more can claim such high numbers too as well. So a ~50% true blue chip class (composite, for instance) suddenly becomes an "80% blue chip" class. Sort of loses its meaning in a way...or at least needs a new set of context. Js but yes a pretty good end to the first half of the recruiting cycle regardless.

Mike Keith sounds so refreshing and then you hear Bob Kesling and its just another example of bad decisions this University made.

I will never forget, at the beginning of the national title season, he was saying, "If not now, then when?" even though a lot of people were pointing out all the deficiencies we had.

great finish today.

#10 on rivals, #12 on 247, #14 on on3.

elarbee signed his highest ever recruit.
ekeler signed two of this top highest ranked recruits.
golesh signed three of his highest ranked recruits. his highest is ethan davis in the '23 class.
banks signed his highest ranked recruit.
mack signed his top three highest ranked recruits.

think its time to put the "can't recruit" noise to bed. it's only going to be an easier sell when we win 9 next year. i'm pumped.

I'm sure it has been posted, but just in case you missed it. This will get you extra excited about this class!! I'm not sure how anyone will stop this offense in a couple years. What the staff accomplished in the short amount of time they had is quite impressive!

I gave it a like last night. The very first one. I told some buddies of mine that West was my surprise commit prediction a month ago just because I heard that Garner was really working him hard. I admit I was a little worried last night but still had a good amount of confidence. I thought we may have a shot at Tolan, but we came through with Pearce. Glad we held on with Williams, he is going to be a good one. Great day! GBO!

Tennessee football has had its share of good on paper recruiting classes post Fulmer. Most notably under Butch Jones although Kiffin's 1 attempt was noteworthy at the time. Dooley's were decent along with Pruitt's but this time it's different. I have the utmost confidence that these guys will get developed and that feels good to say the least.

It means we have 12 kids that at least one of the sites considers good enough in their eyes to be a four star. Says a lot to me as there are different sets of eyes on kids and at end of the day what matters is do they fit your system which can make them either eventually overrated, underrated and right on the mark. We have systems on both sides of the ball where it wouldn’t suprise me if we have very high hit rates nearly every class when you let kids play fast with no fear.

Really it’s just all the same analyst recycled. On3 is the same crew that built 247 from the ground.
