There have been articles in the past about how Joe Brady didn't like to recruit. With that said, its been reported that there is mutual interest in the job at Miami. Probably wouldn't have to recruit too hard on South Beach.

And he’s from that area originally, right?

Because the worst kept secret in college football is that Lane doesn’t want to be there.

I also had a Bama friend tell me that Lane was a lazy recruiter at Bama. But he didn’t have to recruit.

If Lane has gotten lazy, Ole Miss is not easy to begin with. He won’t maintain 10-2 talent.

This is about what I figured. I can't wait to see who we get in the next 5-6 mo

Tennessee is taking its time with the transfer portal right now, taking a hard look at the guys who are available but not just jumping on the first players they see who look a little bit interesting. They want to find the right guys, and they know plenty more players will be entering the portal in the coming months. That's not a situation that needs to be wrapped up by National Signing Day in February. There's going to be another wave of players entering the portal in the spring, so the Vols are in a good position to sit back and evaluate their options.
