That was uniquely awful. Even the officials sucked. I’m surprised they called fouls and didn’t let them bludgeon each other to death as penance for making us suffer through that. And end the game early for that matter.
I Don't think they called a foul till it was almost halftime. Fulky was bleeding, elbows knocking out your breath . There was really nothing good about this game.

I don’t think the two compare. First, do we know the conversations that occurred between Diaz and the Temple, after all Miami is obviously a massive step up. I do agree it’s a bad look what Diaz did, but what Miami did was downright awful, maybe the worst I’ve ever seen. And yes he’s a rich coach, but he’s a person, and more importantly those kids are people and what kind of example is that to them? How to treat others.,.
I don't agree, and that's fine. Fans, ours and others, kept saying it's stupid to fire your coach until you have another lined up. Those aren't my words, but others' words. That's what Miami did. And now it's such a horrible thing? We've applauded other teams in the past when we suspected they had their next coach lined up ahead of time and wish we'd do the same.

Yes, he's a coach. I'm sure he knows in his profession he'll get fired at times and it may not be pretty.

As for players' feelings, I guess we should never fire another coach, or at least let them vote on it. Players always are caught in the middle. Actually, sometimes they're in the middle of the problem that led to the firing. Player's feelings have never been a concern here in the past when we constantly call for coaches to be fired.

The only thing wrong with this is that the pursuit was so public. That may or may not have been UM's fault. But public or not, players know when their coach is on the way out or is rumored to be. Miami players were in no different situation than players in any other coaching change.
