TTUs length is giving us problems. Luckily we’ve been playing decent defense too but we’re gonna need to start hurting the open shots when we get them.

I don't remember hearing "pick six" in the '90s. Maybe I didn't really pay attention, outside of John Ward or UT games on tv.

I was just curious if anyone remembers it in the early 2000's or before? I assumed it was a phrase used for decades, but I just don't remember it. . . maybe just a few years before "kick six".
Could be wrong, but I think it was definitely a 2000's or maybe later thing.

My Roomate from College worked in the Sports Marketing Dept for Dr Pepper so he knew Herbie, etc since they sponsored College Football. He was on the field at Halftime in the SEC Championship a few years ago in the Football Toss. He got us Backstage Passes for College Gameday in Columbus Ohio. The real reason Herbstreit moved out of Columbus is that he was cheating with his neighbors wife and the neighbor came to his house and beat the 💩 out of Herbie
Damn you got all that from backstage at Gameday??? Awesome tix

I've been trying to find information on a local kid here in Merritt Island. (They play for the state 5A - I believe - championship next week) He is the team's QB, 236 completions on 387 attempts 28 TDs/13 Ints... But..... he is also the kicker/punter. He has kicked 19 of 24 Field Goals with a long of 57... and 39 punts with an average of just under 40 yards. Not stellar... but he is a proven QB. That means he can throw the ball. I would think somebody would like to have a punter back there on 4th and 5 that could pull it down and have the arm to throw the ball...

And no, I'm not related.
