I meant to ask you, in the Powell vs Page game they called a penalty for 12 men on the field, I thought that was a 5 yard penalty. They marked off 15.

Yea I’m sure some of them probably saw the social media lately.. I follow a lot of the local guys down here and they have been pretty clear from the get go they were going to go all out for him..unless he backs out last minute these guys are stating there reputations on him coming and in the 7.5 - 8 million range..with a promised large budget for assistant coaches.

And teams in the championship games take care of teams with 5-7 records. Baylor did not do that. They don’t belong in, period. I live in TX and like Baylor…but circumstances are what they are. Just being honest without orange-colored biases.

Baylor beat OU and OK state. That’s number 5 and number 14.

They lost to a bad TCU team though. If any team besides Georgia makes it, it’ll be Notre Dame

Clemson defense thrives on stealing other teams offensive signals. Venable and staff are very good.

Who would’ve thought in January we’d finish with a winning record, most likely a Top 20 recruiting class and playing in a bowl game? Much much better than the doom and gloom that nearly everyone was sputtering early this year

They put Bama in the playoff once without even winning their division. The BCS put them in the championship without winning their division. They should have 2 less titles IMO but the precedence is there unfortunately

The major holdup now is the other conferences want an 8 team expansion with auto bids for conference winners and then a few at large bids. SEC is wanting no auto bids, just 8 best teams, so the conference could have at least 2-3 teams in most years. Could see 4 getting in at some point too.

Dabo is Fulmer staring down the loss of prime Cut and Chavis right now IMO.

We saw how Fulmer fared without Cut. Now imagine how he would have fared in 2005 and 2008 without even having Chavis.

This. Part of the reason I like having Hype as the head coach. He is an X’s and O’s guy and the brains. Good coordinators go on to get head coaching jobs and that’s life but having the head coach as the smartest in the room you are still able to retain the brain power throughout coaching musical chairs.

Fulmer is a politician and not very smart…definitely not a X’s and O’s guy…you saw his record with Cut and his record without Cut. That being said Dabo is in the Almost Competitive Conference so there won’t be as steep of a decline.

So are y'all wanting fun games to watch or who deserves a chance to play for the NC? Remember when we used to have bowl games that were fun to watch then they picked some team after it was all over and crowned them? Yeah, that was fun. This 4 team playoff was fun for about 2 years. Now it's no fun, and the bowl games are ignored.

Gabriel isn’t coming here unless he is sure he is going to be starting…. I think the staff is fairly certain Hooker will be back…. He could always get a surprising draft projection and leave but I feel he will be here another year.

That’s the uncertainty I’m concerned with. One person in his ear could change his mind.

Yes but you can't really look at the final score, we flexed on scoring towards the end of the game... we were very sloppy the first half, that is mainly what I mean... I would like to see us play consistently through games...
