So is @butchna Ben Weaver? I kid. A curmudgeon on the surface, but soft on the inside............;)

That's @Ulysees E. McGill .

I’m real interested to see if Bama can block well enough on the OL to allow Young to let some plays develop. If they do, I think they will be move the ball well enough to win. UGAs offense is good enough to move the ball on Bama too, but I just don’t trust that offense. For UGA to win I think they will have to really shut down that Bama offense and pull out a 24-17 type win, which is possible though, because that front 7 is elite.

It pains me to say this but I’m rooting for Bama. I know UGA is going to be string for awhile. I jist don’t want them to have anymore success and momentum than they ready have.
I'm rooting for plates shifting underneath the stadium and swallowing both teams and fan bases.

Everybody wins.

I mentioned this to someone yesterday- we may be seeing the downfall of Clemson right before our eyes.

They just had two kids - including a four star receiver (Frank Landsen) enter the portal. Their AD might be going to Miami. Oklahoma might be hiring Venebles away (a move that would really expose Dabo IMO). And they’re coming off a mediocre year by their standards in a weak conference.

There’s no Trevor Lawrence to mask their flaws.

A falling Clemson helps with our rise.

👀👀👀
It just goes to show again what happens if when you miss or don't develop at least a decent QB.

We would have been tearing Heupel apart right now if Heupel had not been able to switch Hookers ligh on...it is good to have a coach that can figure out how to get above average play out of that position no matter what he has to work with.

1970s are on line 2.
Hmm maybe yeah in some areas. Maybe late 70s. I'd put the early 90s up there too. We had lost some of the great music from 60s/early 70s but early-mid 70s music was legendary right up till the cheesy crap like disco hit, then that went into a decade of corniness with hair bands and all that cheesy rock. Cars were transitioning from the epic 60s muscle cars to the complete garbage can cars of the 80s and early 90s. But at least they still had a little style in the 70s. The 80s was a complete explosion of cringe though, on a scale never before seen.

The clothes 😅

I've always said this about adaptations. Why do they think they can wrote a better story than an international best selling book? The story is tried and tested and proven to be loved by millions, why are they so arrogant to think they can do better?

That said, I don't think the series has been THAT bad yet. Overall the major stuff is still unscathed. But it does make zero sense to abandon some of what they have for other stuff that isn't even that interesting.

Agreed with the first paragraph completely.
The show has been ok to watch if you remove the book story. As a book series adaptation it's pretty bad. LoTR and GoT were infinitely better and stuck to the books much better.

The people making the show are arrogant pricks who thought their woke BS and story butchering would attract more viewers. The plan should have been to please the millions of book fans who have been waiting on this for years and that would create a buzz to attract new fans. Instead they have alienated the book fans and the buzz is mostly negative. The 5 hours of episodes so far have been rushed when covering the actual story and have wasted at least an hour on worthless dialogue that isn't in the books or is very minor. That time would have been better spent building the character's personalities and motivations.

Well...that's just your opinion..I loved the eighties.

Weird man. I spent a lot of years working for an electric utility. If someone wanted to pay for what you’re describing even if it changed which feeder or substation we would not decline it. The design software is tied to the operational maps, so after a designer made the changes it would also change the ops maps. If the voltages matched you wouldn’t even need to change transformers. We’d also allow you to install your own civil if you went underground. One of our inspectors would follow along for depth of trench, type of conduit, etc checks.

The problem is the question below

is your power on an AEP pole? or MUS/NU?

Mine is AEP, the neighbor, even though Dandridge also, is connected to NU.

NU told us to ask AEP for permission to switch and AEP wouldn't even discuss.
Basically they'll get here eventually, now that they're at least slightly convinced this whole internet thingy isn't just a fad.
