I didn't play linebacker in college. I played fullback. Also, the last scrimmage you speak of was in the rain, and like I said, the VFLs that attended (media was not allowed) said Milton was clearly the best QB. But, since you have such vast knowledge of our roster and apparently break down practice film everyday (because that's what college coaches do), who on the roster was this far better option than Beasley? I'll hang up and listen.
You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that hates Bama more than me. My record here shows it; shows that I've always tried to advise our younger generations that it's not Florida, it's not UGA...it's Bama. I've said a few times, hating/chasing/competing/beating and losing to Bama made us a top 10 program...chasing UF and UGA got us the last 20 years.
The thought of Bama winning another SEC Championship makes me feel like I have a raging hangover in a bus station bathroom, it's makes me sick. Their fanbase is the worst and always has been, from the bandwagons to the old timers.
With that said, I hope they skull drag UGA tomorrow, I do.
UGA fans after they beat Bama, especially if it's going away...no f@%king thank you! When is the last time we saw a Bammer on this board that gets out of line? Now think about all the dog scumbags that show up here, and WILL show up here. No way. I'll get banned, I will. Think about the dogs that will show up here, and how they will be. Efffffff that! And, I don't even want to imagine how they will be if they manage to pull off the National Championship. Frank will be throwing them out of this place in droves, along with a few of us, probably. I can't stand those dirt bags...at least I respect Bama's bullsh!t. ANYTHING to keep UGA right where they've been for 40 years, I'm ALL for.
Roman Harrison is an edge rusher/LEO. They tried him at MLB and it didn't work out. He will be a beast for us in that LEO role next season. Pak Garland played more snaps than Aaron Willis. Not near enough of a sample size for a valid comparison to Beasley. I want to see Willis play as bad as anybody, but he destroyed his chances of playing much this season with his suspension in the spring. These coaches are building a culture of where everybody has to earn playing time by your habits everyday. On and off the field. It helps to make everybody conscious and accountable at all times. Willis had some growing up to do from a maturity standpoint. You can play people based on talent alone, but you're building a straw house if you do.I think just about any other linebacker we put out there would’ve been willing to take on the Kentucky quarterback. Anyone. I’m sure there’s a lot that goes into choosing the kid that gets the starting nod. Probably their knowledge of the playbook and ability to get to the right spot in coverage. But you see this sometimes…if you’re choosing a kid that does the other stuff but won’t come up and hit someone, you’ve chosen the wrong kid. Other linebackers we have that have looked good in limited/mop up time are Aaron Willis and Roman Harrison.
Bs. You know how I know that’s bs? The fact that Milton started the season ahead of the others. Beasley dove at the ankles of the ky quarterback about 7 or 8 times during that game. Every single time the qb went for an additional 4 or 5 yards after contact. It was the most pathetic/cowardly performance I’ve ever seen out of a linebacker. To say we don’t have a linebacker on the roster willing and capable of taking on the quarterback up high is a joke. The qb should’ve been absolutely lit up over and over again in that game.
Oh the ole where did you play? How original. Where did you play linebacker in college? Yet you post your opinion but I can’t post mine? Hypocritical much? Or for that matter where did heupel play linebacker in college? And a linebacker diving at a quarterbacks ankles isn’t “having a bad game”. Getting lost in coverage, committing and untimely penalty, getting juked in the open field, etc are things that happen to everyone. Those are circumstances that can lead to a linebacker having a bad game. Making the conscious decision that you are unwilling to hit an awkwardly running qb isn’t having a bad game. It’s having no courage. That’s not the same. Also, that’s absolutely bs on the whole everyone knew Milton was the best. For one…I specifically remember reading an article that in the last scrimmage he over threw 3 or 4 open receivers and looked bad. Also, we should’ve played multiple qbs to start the season because you can only ever tell so much out of a qb in practice.
Simple out heuple has done some great things. But he needs to get better in some areas. One area he needs to get better is allowing legit competition for every spot on the team. He hasn’t always gotten the best players out on the field.
With Bamas unusual OL problems and UGAs front seven prowess this game is not easily discernable to me. Bama is loaded at the skill positions, and UGAs only small defensive weakness is downfield...so...what happens?Bammer UGA final score?
UGA 31-23
He may just want fresh blood in that position.I understand Brian Kelly wanting to have his own coaches in place, but letting go of Tommy Moffitt, who had been at LSU for 20 years.. I mean he was there with Saban and has been retained ever since by all the succeeding coaches since Saban, so that tells me his abilities are valued very highly, but obviously not by Mr. Kelly. IDK, not having a great strength and conditioning coach in place or having instability in that particular job, can lead to serious issues once the season starts for LSU. Right now, I say advantage VOLS, when we play them next year..

Bama rips their heart out in the end. I've said it all year, UGA will have to show me before I believe it.With Bamas unusual OL problems and UGAs front seven prowess this game is not easily discernable to me. Bamas defense is not horrid, but they are not great, and UGAs offense is really good, not great..so...what happens?
I think UGA should win this game 30ish to 20ish, but I can see Bama squeaking one out in a 28-27 type game.
