I'm sure the kid is good, but it hurts to read we're not chasing bigger fish. It inevitably leads you to wonder if the staff doesn't feel it can reel in the bigger fish. And if that's the case, why do they feel that way? We should be able to attract talent.

It all depends on who is in the the portal at the position. Staff may believe this player is the best available at his position in the portal.
