You can scratch all of these names from the list. They’ve either opted out personally or, for whatever reason, are no longer in consideration, if they ever were.

It would be awesome if Heup said "thanks, but no thanks"!!

I found it interesting that they spoke of everyone with a blurb about being a Head Coach, except for Heup. To them he is still an alum and OC. LOL SMDH

I know the conventional wisdom says they're in and I think they most likely are because this scenario isn't likely to play out. But that assumption is based on a lie.... they've been #1 for awhile because everyone thinks they're big, bad, and unbeatable. But who have they really played to prove that?

If Bama beats them convincingly (which is the main thing I don't think happens), then what's everybody gonna say? Now their "resume" isn't looking so hot.

Would they deserve a spot over Bama? Of course not.

Would they deserve a spot over UM, assuming they win? Of course not.

Would they deserve a spot over the OSU/BU winner? I don't think so, especially if it's OSU.

That would leave them vs Cinci, assuming they win (which is certainly not a given).

Again, I don't think all of these things happen. But in this scenario, I don't think UGA would deserve it.

And on a side note, I still think Ohio St is better than UGA. Until they beat a couple of really good teams, I'm not convinced they're the best team.
