So you are just a regular ole Joe just like the rest of us?

Since then I’ve made some connections where I get some info from time to time. Most I’m not allowed to share. Here’s what I’ve learned: nothing is for sure in recruiting. I’ve celebrated several things I’ve heard only for those players to end up elsewhere.

Haven’t read the books, but kinda enjoyed the first 4 episodes. I’m not a reader tho, but I’ve seen your comments on how they’ve butchered the show.

It's woke rainbow run fan fiction...if you know what I mean. If I didn't know the real world, story and characters I would probably like it about like I do The Witcher...but I do and it is extremely aggravating.

Reminded me of my daughter in middle school…. She had a beef with another girl on another team…. We were behind and the coach yelled to our team to foul them…. My daughter went over and picked the girl up and body slammed her in the middle of the court.

Dad? When I was in middle school I was defending a girl who kept scratching the hell out of me and the refs wouldn't call it. Next time I had the ball I drove the floor, charged her ass, lowered my head right into her stomach and laid her out. I happily took the technical.

Folks from South Louisiana don’t sound southern. Their dialect is distinctly different. Paula Deen is “southern” and not close to the culture he’ll experience in Baton Rouge and the surrounding towns.

Hmmm…could we simply have a contract in place and then he signs it on signing day? I also wonder if you can work in transfer clauses.

Like here’s 50k and you owe half of it back if you transfer out before your junior year?

If Bama beats UGA, and they both go to the playoffs, I think we get a better bowl game. PLUS, if that happens and then they both lose in the playoffs, they are both 2-loss teams. The disappointment for both would be make me smile a bit. Except of course for the part about someone in Alabama getting shot because of it.

Eh I don’t really care about a marginally better bowl. If a major New Year’s Day bowl was on the line it would be different. As it stands, I would rather see Bama out of the playoffs as opposed to getting to Tampa over Nashville or something.

That said I think we all agree we don’t want either to win a championship.

Yea, I can see that. I’m not a big fan of the writing and dialogue. Like I said, it’s mildly entertaining not knowing the books.
