I'm not a big fan of cheating to win. I know a lot of folks will argue that "if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'"
That's a legitimate argument, but I have a problem personally with cheating to win.
You can define cheating many different ways -- I know that. But, if you're knowingly doing things that are breaking rules I think it's wrong.
Everyone knows the "forgiveness vs. permission" argument. That seems to be the case in this situation to me.
That being said, I don't dislike the staff. I just wish we would try to do things by the book.
Finding loopholes is not cheating.
And also, if we have the chance to get a "Cadillac" type recruit...what would it hurt to get a minor secondary violation if you can get the kid on campus?

I can't believe some folks are openly advocating we do whatever it takes to get recruits. My guess is they realize that Kiffin won't be able to succeed otherwise......and they're probably right. However, doesn't that put us on par with the bammers? Haven't we learned anything from watching UAT the past decade?
We have to hold these coaches accountable. Long after they're gone we'll still be here, either reaping the benefits or suffering for their stupidity.
thats a tossup. whos to say he will be a break out star?wut if he suffers an career ending injury? and i guess it depends on wut the violation is.not saying i disagree, its just one of them damn if u do damn if u dont. ofcourse im all for bendng the rules
