I think this would be a great move… advertise across the mid state and west as well. Get more attention and new people to the spring game that normally wouldn’t go. Get more kid’s eyes on the Vols
I live near Knoxville but would drive to Nashville to see the game in Nissan Stadium. I think it's a great idea.

How do you get that from my comment? QBs don’t grow on trees for everyone program but you heavily increase your odds once you get one in spotlight and drafted then you start becoming a destination for QBs. We will be a top destination for a top QB transfer if Hooker leaves. I’m not sure how that is hard to comprehend. We will also be a top destination for HS prospects at the position as well. Once you hit on one with the type of numbers Hooker is putting up in year 1 then the dominoes start to fall.

When has Heupel ever had a bad QB?

QB success isn’t one sided. They also need the right system to increase likelihood of success and kids are starting to realize this at that position specifically which is why they no problem sitting at Oklahoma and Bama right now and waiting their turn. Clemson was on the list but if they have one more year like this one they will fall and need to be replaced. I know a coach and team ready to replace them in the group of 4 schools that are getting the top QBs each year.
I don't understand how what I said is hard to comprehend 🤷‍♂️ If Hooker leaves, I hope you're right and we don't have to find out why I have this opinion.

Here is a query for you, what if we take another transfer if/when Hooker leaves and he turns out like Backalley Joe? How many guys you think Heupel will get to come in to find another quality QB?...he had to sift through four guys to get to Hooker this year, and he was lucky Hookers light finally flipped on, or we would have been royally f'd watching Back-alley Joe flounder around.

We need Hooker to come back and wring a full great season out of him...that sure as hell ain't gonna hurt Heupel's rep.

LOL - normally I hate seeing his tweets on this board but this one makes me laugh. Most people blur out the license plate, but not this fool - I wish I had connections to run that plate!
The dude does have a sweet ride though. He's gonna get there in style :cool:

Thoughts on Joey McGuire to TX Tech?
Turned down the UTSA job that’s launched Traylor and finished a close second to Aranda for the Baylor job. Has Texas high school contacts in spades so it could either be a Patterson or Morris story. Tho Chad Morris was doing well at SMU in his very first college HC opp…but we remember him for Arkansas.

Haven’t posted many updates on Drew in awhile. And that was because there really wasn’t a whole lot to share. He’s been on a regiment of drugs and therapies and cocktails of other stuff that I’m not even sure my brother even understands.

To recap, he is several months on the other side of finishing radiation/chemo.. the lifetime limit… no more. And routine scans had revealed no substantive change…. HAD :)…. Until recently… their doctor believes there is a real chance this cancer is retreating and his body is processing the tissue out based on a scan last week.

We are beyond thankful, and this isn’t evidence he’s headed towards complete remission, but this is a giant leap forward towards a win for Drew.

He’s been back at school part time until last week… now he’s on a full schedule. He’s still obviously thin, weak, and has a ways to go towards his balance, dexterity, and strength gain… but thought you all who have prayed would enjoy this wonderful news.

Praise God from whom all blessing flow 👏🏻

Edit: I went to change my avatar but lost Drew’s pic. Not sure I have that photo anymore on my phone.

Thank you for this update. Will continue the prayers.

Per 247 article posted in Moore thread. Quinn Ewers rumors of transfer. Crowded Ohio St room. He enrolled early to take advantage of NIL deals. They mention TX as a place to watch but he will have everyone hunting. That would be big pickup for someone.
What did he expect? They recruit stud QB's every year and everyone has to compete for playing time. If he transfers, he's probably gonna be a bad apple on any team that gets him. All he has to do is look at the situation at OU and see that it happens everywhere with the blue bloods.

This is the GREATEST NEWS that has been posted on this board!!! Thanks be to the HOLY GOD. ALL things are possible through him!!

He is great with QBs, but it is highly possible he would get stuck with two Joe Miltons and a raw as it gets true freshman.

It is absolutely possible he will struggle to find a replacement. No rational person believes that isn't a real possibility. But you can obsess over that, or you can trust that 1) he knows what he faces, 2) he has a year to find an answer, and 3) he has cobbled together a functional offense everywhere he's been. I choose to believe that CJH will find an answer. If he poops the playpen, then I'll join you in your misery.

Got around to watching Yellowstone pilot. Pretty darn intriguing. But the some of the dialogue is cringey...like how the daughter is a caricature and only sh*** on people...the dad seems like he may flesh out, but so far it's nothing but platitudes and Costner trying a bit too hard to have a gruff, deep voice...Christian Bale Batman vibes. They don't quite seem like real people, but hopefully the dialog catches up because the storyline seems really good. Not shizzing on it at all either...the storyline makes up for the downsides mostly. Plan on watching more.

Only other show we're currently (re)watching is Californication...which is almost like watching softcore porn with your wife half of the time and it's pretty over the top, but man it's funny and the onscreen chemistry between David Duchovny and Natascha McElhone is phenomenal.

So we probably lose tomorrow, but I hope it's close. I hope we at least put a scare in them. Apparently obnoxious Dawg fans are predicting a blowout victory.

Clearly? If it's so clearly nonsense from a random nobody on Twitter, why are you posting it? What value do you see in posting totally random nonsense from morons or nobodies on Twitter? I'm genuinely trying to understand why someone like you would post something like that on here, I truly want to know what was going through your mind.
Cause I want to. I don’t have to explain anything to u. Have a nice day bro
