Yeah, Pruitt comes to mind although for a supposed defensive savant, his defenses were nothing to write home about. Thank goodness our offense was slightly better against their defense than their offense better than our defense. A win is a win. Much better to take lessons from wins than losses.

I turned into a gambler sometime in the past week or 2.

Idk what I'm doing, but I won $180, by betting 100 on the Vols last week. . . it was winnings off the free $25 they give you to open an account.

Anyway, they had something called a "same game parlay" for the Clippers game last night. Idk anything about it, but saw 4,000 people bet on it and since it was free $, I bet $100 on it. Checked it this morning and have $1,181. Won the parlay for like $922. It was +822.

There would definitely be some ugly games…. Especially teams built on defense but I enjoy the good defense teams…. Teams would adapt and shoot from 25 feet…. Pull ups would be shot more frequently and there would be more layers to the basketball game instead of just a 3 point shooting contest.

Going to Nashville for the Preds game Saturday night. Where is the best spot to watch a Tennessee game downtown/near Broadway? Would prefer to have the game sound on. Been to Nash a million times and somehow have never watched a Vols football game there lol

It's a math game. Shooting from 25ft without getting the reward of that extra point makes it a bad decision. You know analytics and all, lol. Closeouts because of the quality of 3pt shooters leads to defensive breakdowns that allows more diversity to offense. Making extra passes as defense is forced into rotations.

Clyde's is pretty cool. They actually have ping pong tables. I have always had good food, and good service there. I've never been on a game night, but they have TV's everywhere.

To be honest you’ll likely never see that money. The gambling sites when they offer “free” money or bonuses, there’s usually ridiculous requirements to withdraw it.

I learned that lesson and when I gambled on BetOline etc, I’d just make a deposit and decline the bonus.

I don't think the old days was "ugly" basketball either. I hate this era..it is a three point contest and that is all it is, just everybody chuckin it up..I my opinion this is ugly basketball.

I love the Vols, so whatever it takes to win, but I don't like the way the game has went.

Everybody loves it till the well goes dry...If you live by the jumper, then you die by the jumper.

Hopefully we can get some transfer OL and LBs in here this off-season. LB been exposed in last 3 games. Need depth there. Need some veteran OL to replace Mays and maybe Carvin depending on what Carvin does. Nichols probably only signee that has immediate impact potential of the OL class. We also need to get more dynamic at Saftey whether that is letting the backups takeover or moving guys around or bringing someone like Charleston in

I know fans have been sort of waiting for things to take off and thinking recruiting isn't picking up since Tennessee hasn't gotten a commitment in more than three months. But I really think this is sort of the calm before the storm. The Vols have positioned themselves pretty nicely with a number of guys, and I think they're going to have a pretty strong finish. It wouldn't surprise me at this point if Tennessee ended up with a top-20 class, and that's not something I would've said just a few months ago.

That was before the new sports books legalized stuff. Yes you have to watch bonus and free bet stuff but DraftKings, Fanduel, caesers etc usually upfront that if you use free bet they only payout the winnings or once you use bonus money on one bet it is fine but they don’t do much of that bonus stuff now. It usually free bets
