The biggest news out of the VQ chat last night was when AP said that there are big time things going on behind the scenes with NIL. He said that people in state are very committed to this. If Hooker comes back, he’ll get some big ones. And not only that, that isn’t going to be a problem in recruiting

Doug Matthews hinted at similar things Sunday but that he can’t go into detail but that it was big and would help in recruiting

FWIW, on the line, when you play football, the first thing they teach you how to hold. You can post "why don't they call that blatant hold" online 1000 times, and I think we've achieved that, but honestly, that's how you play the game. Pass protection would simply be impossible if you didn't hold, and they do, and they will. A lot. Every play.

There is holding and then there is egregious holding. They were getting away with murder..it was really bad.

Randomly listening to Finebaum today at the gym and some crack pot claims Saban has lost the locker room and the team is falling apart. Don't get me wrong I'll sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch it burn but don't think there is anything to it. Apparently he has called in twice this week with this info.

Not true probably, but that fanbase is totally unprepared for any kind of return to the mean. I live down here and people are uneasy about Bama right now. Lol - I’m just like dude, you still won this weekend and are sitting in a position for the playoffs right now. I swear that fanbase will go full nuclear after Saban retires and they have a 9-10 win season. This is the greatest run ever and they have been spoiled beyond belief.

I think some of the older fans know it will come to an end and have some perspective, but this younger generation is in for a rude rude awakening when it finally happens.
