Another Pruitt recruit doing the disappearing act...I don't get how we had so many of these dudes like Joseph who have soooo much innate quick twitch ability just being so..whatever they are...lazy or apathetic about playing football..

Sometimes I just have to shake my head. A recent complaint I've heard from some fellow Vol fans is that the offense scores too quick. So what's Heupel suppose to do? If he has a play call that is an almost certain TD should he just say to himself, " You know what? I don't feel like scoring points right now." ??

He's supposed to tell his players to stop and take a knee at the 5 yard line creating more TOP.

Dobbs was a better runner and moved in the pocket better.

Hooker is a better passer.

All around at this moment I agree Dobbs is better but if Hooker can learn to move in the pocket instead of stand there flat footed he would be better.

Hard to wrap my head around what's happening in sports right now.

My two-decade-plus championship drought is over with the Braves winning the World Series.

The Titans are 7-2, have arguably a top 5 coach in the league, and are sitting atop the AFC.

The Vols may have finally--FINALLY--found their coach, and unlike the last guy, he seems to actually provide a "decided schematic advantage" via his expertise on one side of the ball.

And of course, Vols basketball and baseball have reached the status of annual conference competitors at the very least with the potential to be championship squads.

It's just amazing to see where my teams are after so much disappointment over the years.

If you don't want the team to score, every play, all the time, go watch highlights from the Pruitt era.

Once we have more depth on D things will get better. We don't even need 5 stars across the board like Georgia. Just DEPTH of average to above-average guys will improve our defense 2-3x over.

We could be getting shredded on D right now AND rolling out a crappy offense. Beggars can't be choosers, we sucked on both sides of the ball and now we're white-hot on offense and still have work to do on D.

Some people are idiots and just barf out old football cliches that they think make them sound like Mike Ditka. The game has changed.

Back in 2003 I believe, we played SCar at home. I was working in Gatlinburg at the time. Walking down airport rd, I saw a lady in a Scar shirt with her daughter and I yelled Go Vols! . . she laughed and we talked for a minute.

Turns out her family came for the game, but her husband got sick and couldn't go. She sold 3 tickets to me for like $80.

I took my brother in-law and we put on our best p151 gear. . . it never crossed my mind that we'd be right in the middle of the SCar fans, .

Anyway, the fans were fine for the 1st half and a lot of the game, as SCar was playing a good game. Then we started taking control of the game, getting some knees in the back and my bil eventually ended up with a jack & coke poured down his back when James Banks scored. . . we kinda just kept our heads down getting out of that section, trying not to let them see us gloat too much. . . good times
