The Grantham move seemed obvious. His defense has been lacking the past 2 years and there's clearly tension. And the OL move makes me happy. I still remember his Y1 their OL was supposed to be god awful and they were really, really good. He was at MSU too...he's a good one but luckily whatever has transpired there...Mullen is risking making these guys (some of his best coaches) his scapegoat.Mullen getting desperate
Pennington is the worst. He keeps his cronies on there because they agree with him. Hyams being on there should tell you all you need to know. The sports source is the worst UT talk show of all time.. grumpy old men doing nothing but complaining about everything they can possibly think of. The game has passed them by and they don’t like it. Somebody needs to old yeller that show and just put it out of its misery if they can’t replace the ppl on it… good grief
I’m super torn here on this. There is some major issues with that team and those usually don’t get fixed, but more importantly, keeping a coach one year too long just kills any momentum the next coach hopes to have. We have seen that first hand, multiple times. The Grantham move seemed obvious. His defense has been lacking the past 2 years and there's clearly tension. And the OL move makes me happy. I still hope they fire him though. He's too great a developer and Xs and Os coach. Bring back the Shark Humpers, Muschamps, and Zooks!!!
Yeah and I don’t even know who that other old dude is with the big hair. He’s another old, loud mouth that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He went off about taking the snap out of shotgun to take a knee. He was legit angry about that. Dude- when all you’ve done is take those snaps, you don’t switch it up at the end of the game. It’s riskier to do that.Pennington is the worst. He keeps his cronies on there because they agree with him. Hyams being on there should tell you all you need to know.
Seems simple to me. The guy took MSU...freakin MSU...to #1. Won titles playcalling for Urban. UF's last 2 coaches only had 1 10+ wins season each and he basically started with 3 straight (given any half normal 2020 season...when they won the East). I'll be 110% happy when the Gainesville morons run him out of town...which they'll do sooner than later.I’m super torn here on this. Geez, take it to a motel 6 and hash it out. And no one wants pictures. Make sure there’s a Waffle House across the street so at least y’all get fed. Never leave a time to visit Waffle House. You guys always said it turned you on....
I always responded, "I don't judge, but no, I'm not joining your threesome."
I agree his resume is good, but he's not getting it done at UF. They should be much better.Seems simple to me. The guy took MSU...freakin MSU...to #1. Won titles playcalling for Urban. That (to me) seems based off a very special period of UF football. That's comparing to the likes of Spurrier and Urban - 2 of the 10 greatest CFB coaches in modern times. UF should be solid - but no reason to believe they should be near the top every year...they're far from blueblood...small town in BFE...fickle fan base...less money than many other major programs.I agree his resume is good, but he's not getting it done at UF.
