I’m watching the ‘18 UT vs uk game when they came to Neyland with a much better record than us and ranked in the top 15.. kinda rings a bell. Hope there is the same outcome tonight

I really hope I am wrong about this one. I want this one soooo bad, but I think at worst this is a loss, and at best a toss-up.

Kentucky will not come in overconfident and unwary thanks to Mike Leach throwing a big monkey wrench in their season, and they will be at home..and extremely motivated to save their season...they know that this game has become the difference in feeling good about this year, and it being a massive disappointment.

I would rather them have already quit on Stoops.

This will be a dogfight.

I posted this in the RF Football Talk thread and thought I would leave it here too:

Today is not make or break for CJH, but a win today puts him ahead of schedule and would go a long way to righting the boat in Knoxville. All he needs is to score one more point than KY. A win today means he sweeps the bottom half of SEC East in his first year as coach. Good first step.

We would beat them worse but he will again manage the game if he can to keep guys healthy. Also, we had the bye week and will have several guys back while they are missing some key front 7 guys who if playing, would make it tougher for us. Like someone else posted, I am not convinced Kentucky is really a 6-2 team but a poser. I feel very confident we win and it’s not a close in the balance game.

Like anything else, you turn it over and get a bunch of penalties, then things can change quickly. That is the only way this one is close.
