Did TN pay Pruitt?

Could it be that, if the whole story was revealed, some players could be hurt? And Pruitt is holding them hostage. I mean, the guy has enough integrity for that, right? The school might not want to go there.

I like batter coated fried asparagus. Especially, if it has cayenne powder sprinkled in the batter.

That sounds quite tasty. What sort of batter do you recommend? Tempura, cornmeal, etc? Any tips on oil temperature, or about the recipe in general that you'd be willing to share? Thanks!

Pruitt and his lawyer do not have a case. They know it, and that's why the lawyer is resorting to the attempt to blackmail UT. I'm happy UT is fighting this.

Sure, tbh. I hope Freak tolerates our food talk. Since the snack is great for accompanying game day eating, maybe he will. OK, first, the fried asparagus isn't my invention. I got the idea from website I came across. I happen to enjoy either creating unorthodox foods or trying out recipes for the same. There are a few free channels on ROKU dedicated to cooking that Shirley and I explore from time to time. A pretty wide variety of recipe ideas, in case you opt to look into them. If you have a ROKU device, just GOOGLE or Duckduckgo: Food channels on ROKU

Version 1:
Ingredients

1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 slices hearty white sandwich bread, torn into 1-inch pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 large eggs
1 pound medium-sized asparagus, woody end cut off
Peanut or Vegetable oil

Instructions

Place 1/4 cup of flour in a shallow dish. Or you can use a paper plate for easy cleanup.
Combine the 3 tablespoons flour, bread pieces, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a food processor and process until finely ground. Transfer mixture to a large ziptop bag.
Whisk together eggs and 1 tablespoon of water in a shallow dish.
Rinse asparagus, but do not dry. The water will help the flour to adhere. Coat them in flour, dip them in egg wash and then 2 or 3 at a time, place them in the bag and shake to coat with bread crumbs. Lay them on a baking sheet until ready to fry.
Line a plate with paper towels and pour at least an inch of oil into a Dutch oven. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Fry asparagus in batches for 1 to 2 minutes, until golden brown. and then place on paper towel-lined plate.

Version 2: Which I like but requires a bit more work.

Believe me when I say a settlement is not inclusive in public record. Don’t ask me how I know. A no disclosure is still valid

Not correct. A settlement with Pruitt will be subject to Tennessee Open Records Act disclosure at minimum. If a settlement occurs, it will be news.

Yes they can can cut a check and attach an NDA to it for him to sign or he doesn't get it.
I don’t this accurate since they are a state school spending public funds. Same reason all employee’s pay is public.
if he were paid by a private donor, maybe.

If there is a payout, can they hide that from public reporting (statutory law)?

No. Any settlement from public entities has to be disclosed when requested. They don't have to announce it but if someone ask it has to be disclosed. In litigation between private citizens there can be a non-disclosure clause, but not with any public or quasi-governmental entity. There are way too many people watching this for it to go unnoticed.
