I don't usually listen to them since they went on the Outkick Network. but Outkick the Tailgate is having Trent Dilfer on and he is KILLING IT! He's not afraid to say what he is thinking and said definitively that both Trevor Lawrence and DJ whateverhislastnameis got worse during their time at Clemson compared to Elite 11. Said Lawrence has gotten significantly better just because he left Clemson.

And if that post is really from someone "in the know", I'm surprised they're so dismissive of Jimbo. I agree he's not setting the CFB world on fire this season, but I guess I thought the win over Saban, the first of his former assistants to pull such a feat off, would give him more traction. But maybe he's already said no and they're attempting to save face?

My guess is that if they let Jimbo go after this year, he will be a very wealthy coach who will be in big demand . He just signed a huge contract and unless he has a dumb agent, buyout $$ should be off the chart. He's probably having some Brinks Trucks built just in case
