Had a dream last night. Game is tied 6-6 late and Bama attempts a long FG with 1:30 left. We block it back to their 37 yard line and kick the winner as time expires. Vols defeat highly ranked Bama 9-6.
That was the worse game I have ever been at in my life…..Pickens, Harper, Morgan at receiver…. Can’t score more than 6 points…… Greg Amsler trying to leap over the top to score….. I still have nightmares.

It’s not too late to pull out some key pieces and beg them to be gentle

Who are the brave injuries if I may ask? I know two of them soroka and scuba.
Soroka (best pitcher overall),
Darnaud (starting catcher, out for 60ish games)
Acuna (one of best players in baseball)
Ynoa (best pitcher at the time)
Ozuna (injured then out after legal issues)

Acuna and Ozuna going out literally blew up the whole outfield and required acquiring 4 dudes.

Its like investing, protect your assets long term and your return is greater.

Investing, sure.
But CB, you know it's also the *exact opposite* of what good coaches do/teach in football. I know you know that.
Coaches don't coach that way and players don't suit up for tonight's thrilling match up of long term asset security.

"The one game season starts now" and you never, ever look past your current opponent to next week.

Someone may very well get injured. Or we may rest them and they get injured on the 1st play against KY.
There's infinite possibilities but rolling over to our biggest rival and separating the players into expendable and not, only ends one way. We can't say long term but overlook the long term effects on the TEAM.

Doesn't seem to be his personality. Only thing I've found disappointing about him, to be honest. I keep wanting to see him lose his cool at least once on the refs for some of the crappy calls we've seen this season, but he doesn't. And after the game he'll say he asked for an explanation and didn't get one. Maybe he needs to unleash Ekeler on them?

He has let them have it. Seen it at Neyland but not on TV.
