I’ll say this and may or may not shut up about it, I’m a ginger and if anyone knows anything about us, we don’t back down. All you ‘let’s sit our best players against bama and save them for less talented teams” bunch. Have you even thought that Saban is going to rest his best players against a homecoming game to save them for a more challenging team? Won’t happen. All of you 🤬 and 😞.
I know gingers lack souls of their own and thus devour the souls of everyone else....

So what….. you don’t know who we will lose to injury against Bama….. anyone thinking that way will never be a winner….. Georgia hits really hard as well so we may as well sit them again…..go explain to someone like Al Wilson or many of the other greats that we are sitting guys against Bama bc we are afraid….. That attitude is the equivalent of Joe Milton jumping out of bounds instead of getting hit.
Nah its literally because we went into the season with 71 plays and at this point do we even have 50 that can play? Bama is the most physical team that weve seen so far, and this team has held up like a wet paper bag. Protect your assets. Win 3 out of your final 4 and give UGA hell.

Some Friday night entertainment from the Tiger Droppings LSU board.

Hello Tiger Faithful.

I'll start by saying that I am currently one of 4 advisors hired by Scott Woodward. I provided my name to the site admin so hopefully that is enough to suffice.

To start, there have been two conference calls hosted by Scott, with 8 or 9 people. Myself and the other three guys, and a handful of lawyers and other donors.

The idea is to make this a weekly deal, and be more involved with staff. Basically to get feedback on his own choices as well as help prevent him from crossing lines created by being mid season. It's a living.

Regardless. I love this board. I've read it for quite some time. I love speculation. Hell, we speculate too. We don't know who Scott will hire. We do however know what he's up to and the general outlook.

That's what I'm here to discuss with you all. I'll provide cliffs here below.

- First, you can count Jimbo all but out. Woodward is vocal about being unimpressed with him. Saying he should have "grabbed 2020 by the balls" but couldn't pull the trigger. Especially while LSU was down.

- Scott has spoken with several coaches agents. But interestingly, he has been able to speak directly to Lincoln Riley. They have talked 3 times. Nothing concrete. Simply personality gauging and overall character analysis. He really likes Riley and Vice Versa.

- Lane Kiffin has had his agent call Scott to put his name into the hat. Nothing more there.

- Scott has reached out to Napier. It gets interesting here. According to Scott, Bama has their name in for Napier. We don't know specifics and we don't know for what , but Scott seems to think Bama wants a head coach in waiting.

- Scott wants Joe Burrow more active with the program.

- Orgeron has received multiple interview requests. Scott has prevented this excellently to hold recruiting together, even going as far as to consider keeping him on staff in some form.

I apologize if some of this info was already known. You actually have decently accurate insiders here it seems.

Scott is nervous. We all are. He has told us this hire will define his legacy as an AD. No stone will go unturned.

But at the end of the day, we are all fans.

I'm afraid I'll keep it brief as it is a long night for me but I'll rejoin you all in a couple short hours. Thank you for listening.

Any questions will be answered to the best of my ability. Geaux Tigers.

42-38 Vols get the win. Hooker goes off with the bruised knee and establishes himself as a legit top Quarterback in the SEC.
Hyatt needs to explode. The Line needs to block their butts off and we need to come out swinging. Heupel needs to lay it all out there for this one. f*** bama

We need to find a way to get Hyatt more involved. His speed can be a difference maker. We actually need to play more WRs going forward anyway.

I hope Tiyon plays, the offense looks so much difference when he is out there.

We don’t have 21 guys out with injury….. the days we sit guys against Bama is the day I turn in my Vol card and give back my season tickets….I won’t care what they do against Kentucky and Georgia bc I will be looking for a new team to cheer for.

Lincoln Riley would be a big name. Not sure if he leave though with OU joining the SEC in the next couple of years. OU seems to be a much easier job than LSU even though LSU is probably a better job but huge expectations.

Napier is interesting to me. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about but I need to research him more.

Maybe it's just me, and I know they're undefeated, but I'm not all that impressed with Lincoln Riley this year. They wouldn't be undefeated, IMO, if they were already playing an SEC schedule.

Lol at Kiffin and Ole Miss, I guess LSU is another one of his dream jobs. He’s a joke, no loyalty or class at all

Lincoln Riley is a big name. He's had success at OU. I just question how much of that success is due to inheriting an already strong program in what's not really a strong conference?

"I've been a huge fan ever since they hired Saban. He's just awesome."

"My wife's family pulled me over to Bama fandom. No, her parents didn't go there or anything, their neighbor has big Bama watch parties so they've been all in since about 2010 I guess. The neighbor isn't a former player or anything, they just all love Bama."

"Some buddies at work used to live and die by Bama, and I would watch games with them. Then they got Saban and I've just been along for the ride."

"I worked for a company that had an Alabama office and some of the folks there really turned me"

"I drove through Alabama one time and bought a Bama mug randomly."

And if that post is really from someone "in the know", I'm surprised they're so dismissive of Jimbo. I agree he's not setting the CFB world on fire this season, but I guess I thought the win over Saban, the first of his former assistants to pull such a feat off, would give him more traction. But maybe he's already said no and they're attempting to save face?

Thanks for the info but I call BS on this.

No body involved in the search is gonna come out and say all this. It may get leaked out bits and pieces but not laid out like this.

Same here. I just don't get this this kind of mind set of setting starters in fear they may get hurt well I got news for all of them. There will be injuries its part of the game you don't run and hide I don't care if its Bama or TN Tech you play the game and you play to win.

I don’t see it. LSU see’s itself as a better program than to offer Lane Kiffin, and truly they are. I don’t really see him even considering it besides getting Ole Piss to cough up the money. He’s waiting and this is too soon. They’ll go after a more proven coach. After the antics that came out about Coach O, they won’t go after a power keg.

I agree, but it said he had his agent call to throw his name in the hat. If true just proves he’s scum
