I swear man, give this fanbase just a little taste of victory and hope (we seem to have that now) and watch every game be like this.

And if anybody has a petition to make every game in Neyland a night game I will gladly sign that right now.

Unless the SEC tries to keep us from having that atmosphere the Georgia game should be at 7 or 730 that week too with better matchups out there.

Last night was fun because the entire game I thought we had a chance, all the way up until Milton tucked the ball and ran out of bounds (wish he’d told me he planned to do that - I could have gone to bed sooner).

Back when we were consistently good, I always thought we had a chance. We never won every game I thought we should win, but we also didn’t face 29 point spreads against our traditional rivals.

To me, that’s when Tennessee football will be normal again. When I can look at the schedule and think all of these games are winnable…

Talked to my daughter this afternoon about the game. She heard LOTS of words and expressions I had to explain that we don’t express in our home. So after a long Q&A with her, I asked her…

“Well, are you hooked on UT football?”

She said “YES. I can’t WAIT to go back!!”

That’s my girl.

Priceless. I have two daughters.

No, the middle ground I’m referring to is she has to be more “political” with her statement as the overall chancellor. She has to use tact. Danny White can take a much tougher stance as the AD.

Criticizing her at this juncture is just tearing down what created last night’s enthusiasm.

She had nothing to do with that.

I love seeing the players putting forth a Twitter campaign supporting the fans and thanking Volnation today. They get it and I feel like they understand fans have had their back and it’s time they had ours and that we can use this as motivation us against the world and screw everyone else.

Also who wakes up and think man I need to bring my golf ball to the game? At least the mustard I could see someone putting alcohol in it or grabbing it from concessions. I think the golf ball is what is making all the media losers go off the rails

I think it was designed for him to roll right if the initial read was not there. When he ran into his own lineman, it discombobulated him and he ran the other way. Still absolutely k no excuse for running out of bounds. I don't think he was afraid to get hit, I just think he had no real awareness of the time left on the clock.
Come on man. My goodness. It was the last play of the game. He knew when he took the snap it was the last play. Just looking for anything to defend him and no one can defend what he did. It was one of the dumbest things I have ever witnessed from a D1 QB.

Loved the game. Loved the atmosphere. The only negative was that it ends so late that most restaurants are closed after. I was forced to eat Krystal burgers.
