Me and about 10 of my buddies were at my best friends house and we were lit up like the fourth of July long before the game even started...I don't see how my BFs house didn't sustain major damage..lol..😁
Your boyfriend? You said you were pretty wild in your younger days, and we all know Weezer doesn't judge.

I remember when Rooster's wasn't even there. Originally there was like a small hole in the wall bar called Ande's Place, IIRC, plus a barber shop and a Kay's Ice Cream.

Back before it was Butler and Bailey's, many, many years ago, that was my first job. I was a bag boy/stock person when I was in high school.
Wow. Good history. I loved that shopping area. The guys that ran that liquor store were great too. One of them told me about a runway up the road on north shore where drug planes could fly loads/bales in back in the day.

If McGill "experimented" in his younger days, I don't judge.

But despite your implication, it wasn't me.

Yeah, I've been here since the late '80's. Went to Bearden for high school.

I live just down the road from there. Used to go there often years ago. Haven't been in a long time.
I love Rocky Hill.
Pilot with a (clean) McD's in it, CVS or Walgreen's or whatever that was there, good Mexican place, Rooster's, Sullivan's, Butler and Bailey, the dry cleaning spot, the good BBQ place right there.

All of it was close, walkable enough, always clean, great service. Good little pocket of town.

There was even the place that was a Hardee's that turned into a Tin Roof so there was another bar. Although that place got out of hand. Didn't a drunk driver leave there and hit a cop?

The McD's is gone and what was the Tin Roof is now Scrambled Jake's. Don't recall the drunk driver story, but they never had enough parking, which led to people parking across the street in the shopping plaza. Bill, the owner of Rooster's, talked to the plaza owners and started having cars towed. He didn't like the competition.

Don't blame him
