Board Mood If We Go 0-4?

I like their chances of winning at least one of the next four. Two home games, two road games.
Of course injury is a major factor for this team due to lack of depth.
Might just be my BVS but I feel this team is gonna be held together with mud and duct tape to make it to the end of the season...ruling that we can use transfers to get back to 85 will be a big help

DG based on what you’ve seen do you expect this team to just lay down for Bama and UGA like we’ve sadly been accustomed to lately?

Nope. We'll play hard even if we don't win it. I even kinda thought we had an outside shot at Bama before A&M beat them.

I would love to be the team that beats Georgia this year, but that would be one major upset. They look invincible right now.

That is interesting. If we go 1-3 who would you prefer we beat? I also would have said Bama before the aTm game, but UGA would be sweet especially if they get past UK.

Wouldn't have thought it possible that we go 2-2 3 or 4 games ago, but with guys getting healthy and playing disciplined fb I think it's much more likely we go 2-2 than 0-4. I think we win at least one of Miss and KY.
So you say most likely 2-2 and win the KY or OM game, so you also think we beat either Bamma or UGA to get to 2-2?

I think the wind will come out of most people's sails.

Think about this

We lose two Heartbreakers to Ole Miss and UK and people will be saying Josh can't win close games.

It's still a success to go 6-6, but it will leave a bad taste in our mouth because we didn't beat any good teams.

A bowl win might alleviate that though.

Before the season started, most fans would likely have predicted 0-4 for these upcoming games. Just the fact that most all of us are now talking like we might have a legitimate - even if it is an outside - shot at winning any of these games feels like real progress to me.

We will be underdogs in the next 4 games...so will the happy posts continue if we play well but still lose all 4 or if we manage to win one and go 1-3? I think most would be happy with 2-2 during that stretch.

Got a better idea, board mood, if we go 4-0? Negativity begets negativity. I'm all positive about this team and its coaches. And will remain so come Hail or high water.

I’ve never liked this thought process. “Before the season”
The regular season is halfway over. Expectations should be adjusted to how we are currently playing not what was predicted before the season.

I’ll be PO’ed 4 times. Been PO’ed twice already this season.

Taking into account that we’re going into the next four games at a talent or depth (or both) disadvantage we should be content even with competitive losses. But I think the offensive explosion the past two games has got people’s heads in the clouds, mine included at times. This stretch just sets up for disappointment like you said.

Perspective on how much better reality is than negative prognostications.

I definitely won't be too disappointed since we have seen obvious improvement. Well, since he decided to play Hooker that is. Kind of expected it to be a tough year with all the transfers and new schemes but all I have ever wanted to see was player progression and improvement on the field.
