This sounds so much like rationale of years past. To some no win was impressive, no win was big, no win mattered. The only games that mattered or was big were those that we lost or those we hadn’t played yet.We got bigger challenges at present besides water under the bridge. We beat USCe and Mizzou last year. I know many of you love style points but the conference play from here on out will show whether there has been significant improvement or not.
I'm just basing this comment off a comparison to last years conference record. I thought Pruitt's undefeated run was important but many suggested it wasn't because it was not against top teams. They may have had it more right than me. If we have a lot of hoopla and fanfare and win some OOC games against cupcakes, that's nice and all, but where the rubber meets the road is in the East. Doesn't mean we cant enjoy wins and statistical indicators or the way the Mizzou and USCe wins went down. But at this point using the conference metric it's what last years team achieved. This sounds so much like rationale of years past. To some no win was impressive, no win was big, no win mattered. The only games that mattered or was big were those that we lost or those we hadn’t played yet.
Now it’s no win shows significant improvement. I think we’ve already shown significant improvement. I suppose it depends on how you define significant.
@Christian Lowe can probably give you some good advice. Not sure what forum to post this in. My son turns 13 this weekend and I want to get him a Tennessee baseball jersey. I am having a hard time finding one. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!
