My point is that it is ridiculous for fans that don’t see the guys in practice to know who should be starting….. he started the right guy…. Benched him when he didn’t perform and rolled with Hooker the rest of the way.
Milton sucks in games where it counts, he has literally never been a good QB...not even in HS...I told you he sucked ever since we first got him.

I was hoping to be wrong, and you to be right...but I wasn't.

That is the truth whether you ever admit it or not.

I'm with ya. I don't think I would've done it any differently and I bet Heupel wouldn't if he could.

Nobody has been exactly fighting over any of our three QBs…..Heup knows what he is doing.

I’m not defending any QB…. I’m defending Josh heupel bc he is really good at this part of his job…We cheer on the finished product but if he had of started Hooker before his ready then he may be sitting over there watching and we wouldn’t be the team that we are now…. I have preached the same thing over and over again…. Trust Heup…. He knows QBs.
You don't have to defend Heupel because I am not criticizing him....I get why he wanted Milton. He just could not fix him, or at least he has not yet. If he ever does fix him, Milton could have a Burrow experience.

Reading thru the last year's fb events, trying to get a feel for how everything played out.

1. To the @99vawl guy that brought the info of Pruitt being fired that day - We'll just call the responses to you "words" because, well.. But the way you handled it in return was impeccable. Well played, sir.

2. To those that took years off their life worried about a 3 win ceiling if the Heup news was true -
If Freak would unlock the replies, I'd go back and save you the stress, "you're not gonna believe what our dude about to cobble together from a pile of poop".
I know what everyone is thinking. But for my wife, I suffered thru 40 minutes of 'The Lake House'. The time communication thingy works as long as it's in writing. That's all I got from that 40 mins of anguish, so just roll with it.

McGill, Beast never said Milton was going to kill it in-game. He was only reporting that he was winning in practice and looking good.

Everyone knows it didn't translate to gameday. He's not defending Milton. He's defending Heup and his inside guy that watched practiced. The important thing is that we didn't stick with Milton and Hooker stepped up. Go Vols.

Are you saying you KNEW it? “Hoping to be wrong” means there was a possibility. Coaches don’t have that luxury…they have to work through it.

I hope he fixes him bc we will probably need him to go in at some point this season.
