If he wanted to come here, would be silly af to say no. I'm all behind Hooker but Rattler is a good fit for our offense as well. They would just make each other better with the competition.
Hes a bit overrated and came in to college with attitude issues. From what I've seen when I have watched OU he's still super immature.

Be interesting to see the AP poll movement. I can hear the gnashing of sportswriters’ teeth now.

Theoretical question 1: How far should a No. 1 drop when defeated by an unranked team?
Follow-up: What if said No. 1 team is Alabama?

Theoretical question 2: How high do you have to rank the formerly unranked team to cover for a minimal drop of the former No. 1?
Follow-up: Is it really all that shabby to keep the loser ranked higher than the winner?
It should all be based on how good the team appears to be/how they would be predicted to do vs teams around them. Vegas would tell the truth, wish they were the pollsters.

Actual pollsters put a bit too much on strict W/Ls and not how they happen, margin of victory, luck, etc. That's how you end up with 10-2 #13 Northwestern as a 8.5 pt underdog to an 8-4 #23 Tennessee team. That's a sign of a stupid system/results-oriented thinking.

Lol they're not even a top 10 team now after a 3 pt loss? Hmm k...I bet them vs #11Michigan St would be a real barn burner 😆

Based off who their loss was to and who other one loss teams have loss plus a handful of unbeatens still. I don't do the whole "Bama is the better team" thing. I look at results. Simple as that. So yes Michigan State, Kentucky, Ohio State, Georgia, Cincy, Oklahoma, Michigan, Penn State, Iowa, and Wake should be ranked above them. Unbeaten Power 5 teams, or power 5 teams with one loss that's not as bad as an unrank A&M team. Sure Bama would beat the cast majority of those teams but who cares. They deserve to be ranked higher at the moment if you take blind bias outta the equation.

These are from the Gump rant board
Hehehe it’s feeling good to be in this position to make their fans sweat alittle bit now. Hopefully we can beat ole p!ss and walk away with no major injuries and a full deck vs the Gumps. GBO!

You do realize Vega has Missouri a 3 point favorite over us don’t you?

We are a walking triage unit right now. If we can get healthy in the next week or two we can score with the best of them.
Remember….. they went extremely conservative this week with injuries and sitting people out bc they didn’t feel like South Carolina was much competition.

Might as well be us!
Our hopes to upset them took a major hit last night. There is absolutely no way we will get even remotely a fair game called by the corrupt refs in 2 weeks in Tuscaloosa. They will protect Bama to get them to the SECC with one loss, so that it will be possible to get 2 SEC teams in the playoff. We won’t get a fair shake against Georgia either. Watch the UK-GA game next week. I guarantee UK will have a ton of penalties.
