Ugh! I don’t like seeing all of these guys that are out due to injury! I hope our coaching staff knows what it is doing by holding some of them out that could actually go, and thinking they can beat South Carolina with who they have, and trying to rest those with nagging injuries to have them as healthy as possible for next week. They have not given me a reason to not trust what they have done up to this point, so I will continue to. There will be a lot of second guessing if holding guys out that could’ve played ends up in a loss against a team that we should hammer.

What the heck happened in practice this week for so many to be out...? I didn't see any of these guys looking hurt after last week's game, so wonder what happened...

Lot of guys out, this game is officially going to be close.

My God, man. If you think it's "officially close now", you've thought that from the beginning, before reading that.

Most are on D; and, Small and Wright didn't play much last week, Cooper and Kingston Harris didn't play at all, and we still put up 60. Those out on O, with maybe the exception of Mays, have no bearing on what we will or will not do on O.

Good morning and happy game day. I am here in foggy Knoxville and about to head towards the stadium with my beautiful bride to watch the Vols kick some chicken butt.

Also, I was offered a huge promotion at work yesterday so after this butt whoopin I have some serious praying and contemplating to do about my future.

Would love to see the Hokies win. I like that program overall. When I went to the Battle of Bristol, their fans were very cool. There may or may not have been a lot of women in sundresses and minidresses in Hokie colors that reinforce the fond memories.

Agreed. Beautiful campus. Fun little college town in the mountains. Passionate fans with some good team history but don't take themselves too seriously. Made it very easy to choose them for graduate school.

We will be fine. Most didn’t even play last week. And only starter out is Theo. SC plays a boring style of offense so Turnage will be fine for one game. Just hurts depth for any unfortunate injuries. It if we stay healthy, we’re fine.
