Wanted to post this before we tape the 2-minute drill. Don't look for Theo Jackson, Doneiko Slaughter and Christian Charles today. All will be out with injuries. Trevon Flowers will be a GO for today, but it will be interesting to see who they play at star. My bet would be on Brandon Turnage.

Juwan Mitchell is out as he misses his 3rd game in the last four.

Jabari Small will give it a go to help Tiyon Evans. We expect Lenneth Whitehead to be available, but Jaylen Wright will be out with a nagging toe injury.

On the offensive line, Cooper has made strides but will be out along with Kingston Harris.

Seeing that back to back SEC Champion...got me to thinking. Since the inception of the SEC Championship Game, arguably the most important game in college football, only 3 teams have won it back to back: Bama, Florida, and our Vols. Not UGA, not LSU, not Auburn, Ole Miss, or A&M...the Vols. The Gators won it 4 times in a row, and Bama has won it 3 times in a row. Just proves, it's hard to do it back to back.

With Saban and Bama's dominance, a dominance, imo, that no other sport has ever seen, theyve managed the 3 peat, but have not been able to streak even back to back no other time.

From the moment the clock struck zero, I have always said the LSU loss is the worst loss I've ever seen...because it is, maybe the worst loss this university has ever seen. If we could have won that night, a third SEC in five years, playing for a second National Champioship in the 4 years, who knows what our landscape could have looked like. We lost more than a game that night.

Al being a two time SEC Champion, back to back...a little perspective how big time that is.

Bud - wanted to thank you one more time. Your response to my wife's knee fracture/bone graft issue from back in the spring was a major factor in giving her the confidence she needed to give 100% to her recovery. She did exactly as her orthopedic recommended and stayed no weight bearing for 90 days. Then she became an absolute rock star in therapy for not just her age, but any age. Everything is healing well and PT released her well before normal - they had nothing left for her to accomplish. She worked so hard. Even though they released her, she has continued the exercises, techniques, stationary bike riding and resistance bands. I'm so proud of her, but have to make sure she rests it enough. lol. She has a follow-up x-ray and exam later this month, which may be her last for awhile.

Please know that all of us appreciate you a great deal on here and are here for you as well.

Thank you very much sir. It’s always my pleasure to try and help. 🤠
